Great, until it broke
The media could not be loaded. We liked this oven when we purchased it. We used it for all kinds of things, including toasting, baking, warming and air frying. We take very good care of our appliances, we always kept this clean and never did anything to it that would potentially cause any issues. However after about 15 months, it started to show signs of breaking. The digital display on the toaster oven rotates through the various options on its own, without anyone turning the nob. It's hard to get it to stop rotating through, and when you do, you may or may not land on the function that you want. It's then equally difficult to scroll back and forth to try to pick the function that you want. So essentially this is useless if you can't accurately and easily choose the function you need to cook your food at any given time. I called Gourmia and of course it just has a one year warranty. They said I can pay to have it mailed back to them, then pay another $60 to have their people repair it. Sounds like a scam for them to make more money on their shoddy product. I might try to get it fixed locally, but overall, what a disappointment! This is the type of appliance I would hope would last for a long time. I should have purchased a better brand, or maybe a simpler toaster oven without a digital display. I'm going to try to keep this out of the landfill but unfortunately that's probably where it's headed sooner than later. Boo!!

Great replacement for multiple appliances
I had a small 3qt air fryer that I loved but it just didn't make enough for more than 1 or 2 people. I also had a convection toaster oven and regular 4 slice toaster (because the toaster over took way too long to unevenly toast bread) on my counter, so it's great to have a single appliance that replaced all of those. Overall I'm pleased with this appliance, but it's not perfect. Pros: Cooks evenly and quickly, especially when reheating. Cooks a full 12 inch pizza. Spacious interior. Good looking unit. No power switch like other air fryers, so you have to unplug it to turn off the screen. The dial knob got pretty hot the first few times I used it, but that seems to have settled down. Cons: I don't think this gets gets things as crispy as my smaller old unit when doing air fry. Selecting modes in the middle of the LED screen is a little tedious because the selector doesn't seem to actually move with each click (this applies to changing the temperature too). The shelf spacing is just a little too close together. It takes a lot longer to pre-heat to 400 than my older unit. A couple of comments about previous reviews. I didn't notice the strong smell during the first use like I did with my previous air fryer (which is normal). There was a little bit of a plastic smell, but it went away quickly. As far as the fan coming on afterwards, it appears to do this every time you finish a cooking cycle, maybe to cool off the electronics? Regardless I don't understand the complaints about it "catching fire". Why people are leaving their unit plugged in when they're not using it is beyond me in the first place. That's just a bad idea in general with any appliance that gets hot. Plus that bright blue screen is kinda obnoxious when it's not in cooking mode.

Awesome!!!
I refused for years to get on the air fryer trend. However, I have used several of my friends various brands of fries. None of them impressed me. I work 12-14 hour shifts in the hospital. I get really tired of meal prepping and eating the same food for 3-4 shifts. I used to have a $500 Breville toaster/convection toaster oven to make quick dinners. But, my ex got it in our divorce. So, when my brother raved about his double door Gourmia air fryer, I knew I needed it! This definitely has Breville high end vibes. The look is sleek, not too bulky, does not slide around on the counter when opening door/pressing buttons and fairly easy to clean. The only complaint is some of the condensation will drip on my counter from the door…..it’s not alot but enough to where I have to wipe the counter so the greasy condensation wont stain my quartz counters. I purchased my Gourmia 4 days ago and have made lemon pepper & garlic butter wings (viral TikTok recipe), turkey legs, baked potatoes, homemade panko crusted mozzarella sticks, homemade pizza, cajun salmon nuggets and corn on the cob with Everything Bagel seasoning…..all so very delicious! Be careful! This thing gets hot! I have set off my smoke detector twice. Be sure you only touch the handle when opening the door to retrieve your cooked food. I closed to door by touching near the glass and it “burned” my fingers. This is no one’s fault but my own. I just want other buyers to beware: especially if you have small children who want to check up on their food. Overall, I am really impressed and have recommended this product to other nurses who also want quick meals and quality cooking appliances! If you are thinking about it for years or months like I did….this is the one!

Great gadget but……
I loved this little oven. It’s versatile and easy to use. Cooks a lot of different things very well. But…. I’ve had it about two years and the ON/OFF button began to not work well about six months ago. It takes several tries to get it on. Not sure how much longer it will work-then what? I either have to pay to fix it (nope) or get another one - and NOT the same one. So maybe just take this info into consideration. Otherwise it’s great! Update: on/off button does not work anymore. It lasted two years almost exactly. Time to find one made in the USA.
