DO NOT BUY - This watch will break

I received this watch, and it was not keeping proper time. The second hand moved too quickly, which forced me to reset the watch over and over. So, after only a couple of hours, I immediately contact Charles-Hubert directly to have them correct the issue as the watch comes with a warranty. I was told if I pay for pay to ship it to their facility, they will fix it and send it back to me with no additional charge. So, I sent it back to them. After about 2 weeks, I received the watch and was told they did NO WORK to repair it because they saw nothing wrong with it. I took them at their word and assumed it was my fault... well that was my second mistake. The first was buying this watch. The watch began to jam once the hour hand made it to 7. So, I contacted them again, and this time they said they will replace the entire watch for me and send me a new one. However, I was still forced to pay for shipping. So, to keep track - for a $100 watch, I'm not at $50 in shipping costs. This time, 3 weeks went by, and when I was sent the exact same watch. The "work receipt" stated that they replaced the handset in the watch. Which I found the next morning that they did not do when it jammed at 7 again. I, again wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt - hoping that they fixed it and instead the watch just ran out of time. However, the same thing - at 7, the watch jammed again. I contacted the company to demand a replacement - DAYS AGO - with no contact back. This watch does not work, and now I can't even return it to Amazon because it's beyond the return date. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

Highly recommended - beautiful

Got this for my husband as a 10 year work anniversary gift and he loved it. I did a ton of research prior to buying and this one is a good middle of the range option. We had a couple of problem with the first one and had to ship it back twice to finally having it replaced. Not withstanding that, the customer service was good and they delivered on their promise. The watch is very high quality and well made. You can tell as soon as you touch it.

This is a very nice pocket watch for the cost. The quality isn't near that of the older watches that I own, but again, for the cost, it's what I expected. It's a good watch to carry around every day, keeps good time and is attractive. One thing that I don't care for is that the second had can't be frozen when setting the time, not allowing for a precise setting. The instructions are bleak. This watch does come with a chain and the casting quality could be much better.

and I am extremely happy with it

This is my second pocket watch from C-H (I accidentally ruined the first one through carelessness), and I am extremely happy with it. I like the off-set stem design, it is very handy; and I really like the stainless steel construction, it can take the daily wear and tear and still look good. If I remember to keep it wound, it never lets me down. Just a super everyday watch.

Timeless

I received a Charles-Hubert as a gift many years ago and now make them choice for important gifts to friends. They are beautiful watches. I did order three and one didn't keep time properly but the other two did. Glad I checked before having them engraved!! Amazon returns easily, which is why I also made certain to order them from amazon llc directly.

Very nice pocket watch.

This is a very nice pocket watch. I like the stainless instead of silver plate. Pretty much guaranteed to not get ugly. Keeps good time.

Bad product

I give this product and the Charles Hubert Brand 1 star.The watch only lasted 2 weeks. Followed instructions very precisely. I am very dissapointed. This is totally unfair
