Excellent gloves for specific use

Excellent gloves for specific use! In my part of the world, our winters are wet and pretty cold. These gloves work perfectly for use in WET, ACTIVE work! Keep your hands moving, i.e, sledding and snowball battles with the kids, shoveling snow, washing vehicles, etc, and these gloves will keep your hands very warm and comfortable. Not dry, but warm. Also, don't even think about taking these out for a long hunt in a tree stand or any sedentary use in very cold temps. Your hands will absolutely freeze. I think they actually reduce circulation in your hands because they are snug. I would give these gloves 5 stars, except the durability is pretty low. Use them to handle firewood, and they will wear out in an hour. I keep 2 pairs of these around for certain uses, and they are 5-star for those things. Just don't buy them as all-purpose gloves.

Okay, with a caveat

These gloves are warm and fit well, but there is a problem: your hands perspire in them and then they don't ever dry out. So, several days after you have worn them, the fingers are still full of cold perspiration...not so good. On the upside, it does warm up after you have been wearing them for a few minutes but it is sort of gross and uncomfortable. The only way I have figured out to get them dry is to turn them inside out which is a major PITA.

Nice gloves keep my hands warm and dry while I take care of my ducks and chickens in the winter.

Decent for the price

Bought these for Kayaking in cooler weather. They were NOT 100% waterproof when completely submerged, but did a good job for paddling....hands stayed dry and warm. For the price, I would buy again.

water proof

It works good to keep your hands dry and helps keep the smell of the fish from getting on your hands . The price could be better. I bought them as a gift and I know they will get a lot of use.

Great gloves

I like this style of glove, makes it possible to still grab on to things and use your hands for fine tasks. And they are still warm when wet. I use them when I go snowboarding.

Not helpful to keep hands warm

These gloves did not protect my hands from getting cold, and I thought that since they were ICE GEAR gloves that they should protect and keep hands warm in normal cold weather. I have a difficult time finding the right gloves to drive with and keep my hands warm in the winter. Mary Daniels-Gandy

Neoprene gloves are great. If they get wet, your hands get warmer. Wish there was a glove like this that had removable fingertips. I like these gloves as winter gloves.
