Half didn't work
I purchased these lights to go around our pool railing. After installing & having about 40 feet left over I cut the left over part to use somewhere else since it came with extra connectors. After I plugged them in only half the lights worked. I contacted Amazon & since it isn't a Prime order I received this email back from the seller. "Greetings, Lights must not be cut or modified." Well it's a little late for that. Be careful with the lights because the add says easily bendable but I think they are very fragile.

Perfect for the job, but the wire markings are just so-so
Expect to waste a few meters of this in an installation, as the markings are not always precise and it is difficult to see exactly where to cut. However, the results are VERY satisfactory. We use these to produce shadowless, effect lighting, and these are the only lights we use in our apartment and on our patio most of the time.

Malfunctioned after only 2 months of occassional use
After less then 2 months of intermittent use approximately 20% of the lights either burned out or malfunctioned at various points along the rope of lights.

Nice but..
Looks good but a section about 3' long doesn't work. Atleast it isn't in the middle and hopefully I can cut it out. Annoying that I have to work on something brand new.

Don’t last long
Had installed for one year and most of the lights have failed in 4 to 5 ft sections. So much for 50000 hrs. Worked well for 6 months then first one section then another and another. No longer a rope of lights. Disappointed

Great lighting out of the package. Plug and play hoping it was a little brighter. I would recommend for purchase. Shipping was as stated.

This stuff is great, i want to put it everywhere.. the LED's put off enough light so you can see but its not too bright to affect the TV or anything else.. put it up on ledge in living room and above wall between living and kitchen.. i am going to line above and below the cabinets as well. LED's use very little power as well so hopefully using them more at night will help the power bill

Would buy again.
Bright lights, directional so make sure that your paying attention when you place them, I found that the (100 Pcs White R Shape Nylon Cable Clamp Wire Organizer ) worked well to hold them in place. - screwed to the bottom of a board. Had to cut off 12 feet off and folowed the directions. Worked well. Would buy again.

Simple, effective, strong, and bright
Amazon Canada took a long time to ship these. They missed their expected date by nearly a month. This wasn't unexpected as I ordered multiple 150' lengths plus a 100' length. Still it was considerably less expensive than ordering them from the manufacturer and shipping was free. We used them for a long walkway railing. They are more than bright enough to see the edge of the path and illuminate the path out 6'+. They are not bright enough to read by -- unless you really wanted to coil a bunch up. It's a rope... for illuminating an path, walkway, deck edge, dock, etc. It isn't for reading or finding your keys. The rope itself is fairly strong, flexible, clear ruby material, which was easy to work with -- not likely to break or fail and certainly water tight. Comes with a 2-prong 120V plug. The ends have caps which you can remove to connect them, but they didn't come with connectors (you would have to order these from the manufacturer, which says you can string up to 300'). Spools make it easy to install. Other than the delivery time... no issues.
