Run hot
SO excited about the teal color! Planning to decorate a 4ft. Christmas tree for my sunroom in this teal color only, but, honestly, kind of scared. I understand that incandescent burns hotter than LED (which we’ve all become so accustomed to), but once this strand was plugged in, I felt the heat of it immediately. The wiring appears to be solid and sturdy, but I’m not an electrician, so I wouldn’t really know. If you look closely at the product details in the Amazon website, it does warn not to use on this, that, and the other thing. What’s the point?! What am I to hang the lights in midair?! I may return them, sadly. OR, because I love the color so much, I may plug in ONLY when I’m in the room with them and keep a close eye. I gave them a try; when the lights are unwound and spread around the whole tree, the issue is not as dire as originally thought. The heat is no longer startling, and the teal color is bright and beautiful.

Great product, also Pink is the best color for LEDs.
I am an LED aficionado, have tested multiple LED strings, and can confidently say this is one of, if not the best one on the market. Firstly, they are a bit more expensive than others, but that results in higher overall quality. The string is nice and long, great for decorating interiors. The wire is sturdy, and the bulbs will last you quite a long time, even with consistent daily usage. Secondly, here is why I consider the pink color to be the best choice for interior lighting: In terms of mood lighting, obviously personal preference is key. But there are scientific reasons why some colors may be more appropriate than others. Blue or green light will affect your brain and keep you more alert. This is hardwired into us as an evolutionary trait to help us stay awake in the daytime and go to sleep easily in the nighttime. The thing is, at least for me personally, these lights will 95% of the time be used after dark, as a dimmer replacement for my ceiling light. I don't want blue lights piercing my eyes and keeping me up as I get ready for bed. Red light is great in this aspect, since it exists on a different part of the color spectrum. It won't affect your night vision nor will it disturb your circadian rhythm (Body/sleep clock). This is why it's used by cave miners-- so that they can see in the caves without having their pupils be affected. The problem with pure red light is that even though it provides light, it isn't very pretty to look at. It casts everything in a harsh red color that is a little hard to look at. Yellow/white light is fine in my opinion, but it's just a little boring. It's essentially a smaller light source of what you already use in lamps or ceiling lights. This is why pink is the best. It's close to red light so that it's great for night time, but it's a little prettier and puts a "rosier" touch on everything. You won't get tired of the color. I've tried purple out as well, but personally it's a little cold. Pink has a much warmer touch to it which I prefer.

Loving these amber lights!
What a beautiful soft warm glow of amber color. I added them to my tree with my turquoise lights. It just really is a beautiful color made with quality products great craftsmanship , a very good price ad from a company I trust with lights in my home .

Just what I was looking for
I had some vintage Crayola brand gold lights that have stopped working over the last 20+ years so when I found these I had to get them to replace my old ones. They are great!

Vickerman 100 Lights Pink - Wonderful!
These lights are so lovely! My husband added these to our pre-lit Christmas tree and it was such a beautiful addition to our tree! We had multicolored lights on the tree already that came with the tree but I am a person that likes A LOT of lights! I went on search for pink lights because the tree didn't have pink and because it is my favorite color :) I was happy to say that these lights are a lovely shade of hot pink. I would say they glow between a medium to dark pink but they are most definitely Pink and stand out from the other red lights that pre-existed on the tree. If you are in search of a definite pink light to add to your tree or holiday decor you will definitely be happy with these. I ordered 5 sets and highly recommend them!
