Worked great
Drilled 1 1/8” hole in throttle location. See photo. Peel plastic jacket at desired cut location. CAREFULLY, using Dremel tool with thin abrasive blade, did I say “carefully”?, cut wire jacket at angle. Stop frequently to monitor progress. Do not cut through. Twist wrap to separate.

Great value, works well
Bought two of these for an engine conversion on a Toro Greensmaster commercial mower. Was surprised at how well they matched up to what was already on the mower. We trimmed them to the length we needed and they work great. Definitely recommend.

Decent replacement on my 60" bad boy. This cable was a little longer but wasn't hard to reroute it. It is stiff so hopefully it frees up a little. May run some oil down it. Also wish the ball came off. Had to cut a slot into the panel it mount to to get it installed.

Great Product
I used this to replace the short cable on my fertilizer spreader. It’s now long enough to mount to my golf cart so that I can control the flow of fertilizer!

Works great for modification to my spreader.
So yea… the saga of the pull behind spreader was vastly helped by this control cable. I used it to allow me to turn the spreader on and off from my garden tractor, without being a contortionist or elastic man. Works great. A few mods to the spreader (nothing a little J.B. weld couldn’t fix) and I’m spreading fertilizer like a lunatic. The knob came apart on me. Just a little plastic press fit of 2 hemispheres… I really don’t care that much, but that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. More j.b. Weld could fix it if I get annoyed enough with it. Overall… great fix to an age old problem. Oh yea… the spreader saga? Well… that’s a story for a different review. Happy fixing, building, tinkering.

Good quality
I was able to take the lever off the old throttle and swap it on to this one so it would bolt up. It is a custom build so nothing was going to be exactly the same. Anyway, the cable is nice and moves smooth.

Quality Looks Good
I put this on a neighbor's Toro Commercial mower that he uses in his lawn care business. The Toro OEM part was very expensive, I bought this because of the reasonable price and the Oregon name. I matched up the specs from Toro and Oregon and this cable was a couple of inches longer and would probably fit. The only reason I gave 3 stars for durability was because the knob wouldn't come off for the installation and when you tightened the mounting clamp on the carburetor end of the cable, the cable wouldn't slide/operate, The protective black covering on the cable is a softer plastic and will deform and bind the cable when tightened enough to hold it in place. I got around the problems quickly and it works good so far. A very good value for the money and seem well made.

Shoddy craftsmanship
Shipping was quick in these tough times. Used the throttle cable for a about an hour, the sheathing fell out of the thimble as it wasnt crimped tight enough. Pretty shoddy.

Good throttle control. Classic looking.
Great looking. Works well. I added it to an old Toro 2stroke. Good stuff! The old looking mechanics of it really made it look like it belonged on the old 85 Toro.
