So pretty
I enjoy watching this on a rainy day from inside by the fire. It is such a pretty way to direct water from the roof. Super easy to install also.

My Rain Chain is the talk of the neighborhood.
I paid a little extra for this copper rain chain and it is worth every dollar. This is something that will stand out in the front of your house. Others in my neighborhood have rain chains also, but mine look so much better. Every week someone drives by and stops to ask about them. Don't even think about any other ones. This is the one. Don't forget to order the ground chain and the top cup.

Just really pretty!!
I chose this rain chain for it larger sized cups and lowest price I could find online. It is a beautiful heavy cooper that does not need to be secured at the bottom even in the gusty winds that we get close to the beach in Florida every afternoon during our heavy thunderstorms. hasn't blown around at all. I really love the look of it, but I would caution anyone to probably not replace your downspout with this if you also have heavy rain in your area. We even dug a small trench starting directly under it running through the flower beds out to the grass and filled it with river rock. Still, the chain can not handle all the water and the rain splashes up the mulch and the mud everywhere. One other thing I noticed after I installed it ( only took about 10 minutes to do myself ) and looked again at the picture in the directions, I did not pull the chain up through the gutter enough so that the first cup is flush with the round piece coming out of the gutter, which may help and I will try to do that first. If that doesn't work I will just put the downspout back up and install the rain chain at the very end of the gutter. I will not be sending it back, its way too cool looking in my Zenish garden. Give it a try and remember, there's a reason the directions show the preferred method of installation is at the end of the gutter and not in place of the downspout. Just thought of another option, maybe I'll buy another one to hang at the end and leave this one up to see if two of them can handle all the rain! That's how much I love the look!

Oh what a smell?!?!?
Rain chain arrived with one cup flattened on one side (an easy fix I don't deem necessary to return over), a fairly dull finish unlike the shiny sales photos (disappointing, but also o.k., I guess, as it will weather over time anyway), but the one thing I was most unhappy with was the TERRIBLE smell of feces upon opening the box. My husband thought our cat had pooped under the table! I rushed the whole box outside and unpacked it all, threw all the packing in the outside garbage, only to find the smell still clinging to the chain itself! And it was NOT a metallic copper smell - I have fixed enough plumbing in my time to know what every kind of old, moldy copper smell there is in the world - this smelled like POO. Rather than go through the bother of returns, I will just hold my breath and hang it up and let nature (hopefully) wash the stink away, but I would be horrified if I had gifted this to someone and they had to deal with such rankness, and I expected more out of what I think was a fairly expensive item. I also have washed my hands numerously today for fear my pretty rain chain came with a free case of hepatitis or some other secret, nasty poo-related ailment. So - chain is o.k. but not "wow" inducing, and the free mystery stink is not appreciated.

Really adds charm and class to the exterior of my home
This rain chain is just as described and then some. The hammered texture is beautiful. Had copper rain gutters installed and this is the perfect compliment.

Beautiful and high quality!
I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband after hearing him comment on them when we saw them on other houses. He LOVES it! He immediately found a spot on our gutters where the downspout would come off. He put a screw into the fascia board which he then fastened the silver chain onto and let the rain chain hand directly under the hole in the gutter. Then we used the hose to spray water on the roof to see how it works and it looks great! It’s fun to watch the water pour through the copper cups! The hammered copper is really pretty by the way and I think it will be even prettier when it takes on a patina. The quality of this rain chain is very good and I expect it to last decades! Do not hesitate to purchase this for yourself or as a gift!

Takes the downspout up a notch
I love this rain chain! We installed them at the front and back of our house to drain into rain barrels. I additionally purchased Copper Gutter Adaptor (Reducer) for Rain Chain Installation. In the installation instructions it gives the option to screw the rain chain at the top of the gutter, or just fit the triangular metal piece in and let it hang from that. After initially just letting it hang, after two years we ended up screwing ours into the gutter/fascia because in our colder climate, the weight of ice freezing onto it pulled them down a couple of times. Despite having fallen down a few times, the chains are in great shape and do well with moderate rainfall. When we've had the occasional downpour, especially accompanied by wind, it has a harder time handling the flow, since we have a sizable roof with just a couple of downspouts. This isn't a problem for me since the main offender is the front rain chain, where our yard slopes down to the road. The runoff doesn't cause damage (or end up in our basement), but this could be a consideration depending on your house/yard and the weather in your climate. When it comes to aesthetics, these really can't be beat. After 3 years, they are acquiring a patina (they are now a darker brown color). When it rains, pedestrians have actually stopped on the street to watch the rain come down the chain. The sound of the rain flowing down is mesmerizing as well.

Beautiful
I purchased this for another place, but it didn’t work out. I added it to another comer and I love it! Waiting on the brown to hold it down, but really beautiful! Tried to add a video, but it would not upload

Sound is so peaceful and relaxing
Love this rain chain! I was looking around at alot of different products before finally deciding on this one. The price was a little high but I decided to go with it anyway and I'm glad I did. The sound of the rain through this chain is so relaxing. If you have a major downpour however, water naturally flies out everywhere so something to consider when picking the placement if you get alot of downpours. I bought the eave adapter to use with it and my husband didnt have any issues installing it. I recommend anchoring it to the ground and putting a dish or something at the ground to prevent ground erosion. Staking it also prevents the wind from moving it around. Love the product, a little expensive but hopefully will last a long time.

Beautiful addition to any home.
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful addition to the house to replace an ugly beige downspout. Came with a few bent cups but being copper was easily brought back. Got our first real rain yesterday and it worked very well and emitted a beautiful sound. Have it emptying in to a nice large pot with pea gravel topped with river rock. Drilled a number of progressively smaller holes as the pot got higher to slowly drain the water. The only thing I would change is the crossed "O" link that attaches each cup to the next. It causes a splash (although not that severe) that a straight link would not. Overall very happy with the look and the performance. p.s. Installed it on the 25034 Gutter Adapter. Really need an adapter to make flow manageable from gutter.

Good but not perfect
It is good but lots of splash comes out from the product. Distance between each cubs is little bit too far and the chain design is not great for the running water because the water runs through the chain then comes outside of bottom cubs.
