Pretty good
Working well so far. The buttons don't feel very sturdy when pressed. Sometimes you have to press them a few times other times just one press and it works. Other than that it works great

Exceeded our expectations -- twice! Died and came back to life.
See additional notes below after 6 months of use: Original review: We bought the 12-cup Capresso coffee maker because it is one of the very few units that would fit under the cabinets above our kitchen counter. And it was one of the least expensive. But we were very happy to discover that it is a really good drip coffee maker, maybe the best we've ever had. It's lightweight, and feels almost flimsy, but it works perfectly, and makes noticeably better tasting coffee than our old coffee makers. (Using our usual beans and grinder.) I think it may have something to do with the temperature of the brewing water and the keep-warm plate. The Capresso looks good and with its compact dimensions, we've gained a little more counter space in small kitchen. Follow-up: After 6 months of daily use, the Capresso SG-200, one day failed to make more than a few ounces of coffee. The unit made boiling and "chuffing" noises, steam came out of the top, and only a few drops of coffee dripped slowly into the carafe at a time. We thought the unit was a goner. Disappointing. But before we trashed it, I thought I would try running a well-known descaling solution through it. Following the directions, and running the descaler twice resulted in only a slight improvement. The coffee maker would still make lots of noise and steam, but not a lot of coffee (filling it for 12 cups produced about 6 cups of coffee - and that took about an hour.) After a few days of this, we gave up on the pot, and started using an old small Melitta drip pot and a Bodum French press. But we still liked the Capresso - when it worked properly - well enough to order another one from Amazon. Besides, it was the only coffee maker that fit under our kitchen cabinet. The day before the new coffee maker was due to be delivered, my wife filled the old one with water and coffee, and pressed the brew button -- amazingly, it behaved perfectly, as good as new. Back from its near-death experience, it has been working just fine for several days. In the mean time, the new one we ordered arrived, and we decided to keep it as a back-up, just in case the old one has a relapse.

Brews pretty fast
We don't use the timer feature, so I can't comment on that, but when brewing manually, it brews the 12 cups pretty quickly and quietly. I like how the carafe says add the water to this line and you'll get this much coffee. Helpful. Innovative. We did have one accident where the coffee went all over the place, but that was user error for not putting the filter cup in properly. They do tell you that in the instructions too, so for those of you who don't normally read the instructions, at least look at that part. We've only had it for a few months, but so far so good.

What good is an automatic coffee pot that Can’t keep time
I had a grind and brew capresso model for years that I LOVED for reliability and taste. When after 7 yrs it wore out I purchased this simpler model since I no longer buy whole beans on a regular basis. This model needed to do two things…brew a decent cup of coffee and to do it automatically. It sadly only does one reliably. The coffee is ok but the timer is lousy. It loses anywhere from 10 minutes to and hour and a half every 24 hrs. It’s variable and unpredictable. I’d return it except all the packaging was tossed before I discovered it can’t keep time. So now it’s unreturnable.

Perfect size and great coffee!
I had never heard of the Capresso brand before and took a chance. This has been a great purchase! A real pleasant surprise. It has all the features I wanted including auto shut off, and the strength button for small brews of 1-4 cups. The size is absolutely perfect standing 12 inches in height, and 20 inches with lid open. Most importantly the coffee taste great, and better than the big brand-name that I have been using for years. Five stars definitely recommend!

Condensation
Too much water under coffee maker lid after brewing, if not for that, I would have given a 5 star review.

Love this product
I have this item and wanted to replace it because I like it so much. The profile is small on the countertop and the carafe does not drip when pouring. Unfortunately, Amazon sent the wrong item and I had to return it.

(Update) Maybe a lemon, maybe just poor quality
Update: I called support since the product was past the return time limit, and they asked me to mail in only the brewer to confirm if it was defective and offered to replace the brewer if it was. They confirmed that they would not reimburse me for the shipping even if it was found to be defective. I mailed it in, and about 4 days after it was received by Jura, they delivered a whole new set. It's good that they replaced the brewer, but I had to pay for shipping on top of my original purchase of a somewhat pricey product. There seem to be other highly reviewed brewers that are cheaper than this model, so maybe this one isn't the best pick considering the risk and additional costs if you get a lemon. So while it does brew a decent cup of coffee, the money lost on this soured my experience. If this one breaks too, I won't be paying to replace their defects. Original Review: Bought this in July 2020. It now won't heat or pump. Took the housing apart to check for clogs or signs of burnt circuitry. Can't find either. Maybe we got a lemon, or maybe it's a poor build overall, but until we hear back from product support, I am leaving this. Hope to update after working with support.
