Messy, and dispensation mechanism can easily get stuck
The dispenser mechanism for this product isn't very reliable. Frequently it will get stuck like 90% of the way through a rotation, at which point squeezing the mechanism again does nothing until you manually reset it by turning it with your hand. Further, the dispenser is built in such a way that it's very easy to make a mess when trying to dispense the product. Stuff can get caked in the dispenser compartments and not come out immediately when you squeeze the mechanism, and it can kinda spray things off to the side if you squeeze too fast. I got it for dispensing laundry detergent powder, so while this isn't a big problem for me (the washer tub is a pretty big target to hit) it's easy to imagine that this would create problems if you were using it for its intended purpose (trying to dispense coffee grounds into a machine). Overall, I'm not sure this is an improvement over just using a spoon.

It works well, if your are careful
I got this to dispense into a single serving reusable Keurig pod. Its dispense chute is small enough to do this, and with a bit of practice I was charging up the brewer without making a mess. The issue with spillage and dribbling grounds discussed in other reviews does happen, and has a specific cause (at least with mine). The problem is the trigger mechanism that indexes the segmented carousel that carries each shot to the drop zone. There's enough free play in the linkage that if you pull the trigger hard and fast, the wheel's momentum lets it overshoot its mark a little. This is enough to begin spilling the grounds for the next shot. The answer seems to be to pull the trigger as slowly and gently as possible. Not effortless because the trigger action is a little stiff and fast to begin with. But it's doable. I've only started using this, but the general appearance and build quality seem reasonable for something that's only 15 bucks. The cover gasket looks good enough to hold some grounds for a while. Time will tell if the indexing wheel and its components hold up under use.

No more scooping and spilling coffee!
This is my 2nd Zervo dispenser. The 1st I got about 4 years ago on a close-out at one of those boutique high-end kitchenware places. For $5 I couldn't pass it up. No instructions or box. Oh well, Fast forward to 2021, and the thing starts getting stuck and not dispensing correctly. I take it apart, kinda figure it out, then I find instructions on-line, and put it back together. That same night I run into problems again. This time when I take it apart I find that the trigger handle, made of plastic, had broken at the pivot point and was the problem. Not fixable because of the amount of force applied to spin the wheel that contains the coffee shots. So I have the new one and it's working like a charm. It measures consistently, so once you find your magic formula of water to coffee ratio, you can practically make coffee in your sleep, like I do so often! But that would be my only suggestion to the manufacturer: make the trigger handle of some light metal. Had I known the company offers a lifetime guarantee on this, I would have sent my original one in for an exchange. But I believe the price is commiserate with the product. Nice European tech appearance, holds quite a bit of coffee, very easy to maintain. Get it!

Good for Chia seeds
I bought this to dispense chia seeds which I eat daily. The mechanism dispenses a pre-measured amount of coffee or chia seeds by squeezing the spring loaded lever. Each time the container dispenses almost 1 ounce of chia seeds (6 squeezes = 5 ounces). It might only hold 1/2 a pound of coffee but holds almost 2 pounds of chia seeds. Included is a little tray that the container rests in and catches any stray seeds that might fall off. All up, a very neat solution to a messy chia-dispensing problem. After using it for about a week, it started to dribble out a lot of seeds between squeezes and I thought maybe it was faulty. The dispensing tray at the bottom is held by a round wheel and this had become loose. A quick turn and all has been well since (might have to re-align the tray so it is square with the opening. The photo attached show the dispensing mechanism and the wheel that might need to be tightened. Another image of the tray with a week's worth of spilled seeds.

Easy use ground coffee dispenser
I have absolutely no complaints about this - I've used it at work, five days a week for the last twelve years. Alas, the squeeze handle has appeared to wear out. I plan on replacing it with a like item. Maybe Santa will bring me a new one...

Something we use every day
This our second coffee dispenser. The first one lasted 15 years. Not bad for something that we use every day. This one seams better built, but time will tell.

good but not quite the cigar
It does what it says on the tin but the measure seems too small for my 'Lidl' coffee maker measures. Doesn't quite save the coffee spill by trying to measure out 2 1/2 into a double coffee 'measure'

Almost perfect
It works pretty well, but isn’t as practical as I thought it would be. Sometimes after pressing the button only half the grinds fall out and you have to give it a firm shake to make everything come out. You still end up spilling some most times. It feels good mechanically and is aesthetically pleasing. 4 stars

Waste of money.
What a complete waste of money. It does hold coffee, I'll give it that (it's only star) but it dispenses set measures which don't match up to any coffee maker and is not possible to get a half measure. Also coffee sticks inside the mechanism and deposits itself all over your worktop and around your fridge. Don't bother.

Quality time saving dispenser
Had this for more than 6 weeks and use daily. For me every minute in the morning that I can grab back time to spend with my wife/family before heading off to work is a bonus. Within seconds I have my coffee measured and the brew button pressed! All with no risk of coffee grounds on the counter/floor (mess)!
