NO MORE STICKER!!!!!!!!

Just a paper wrapping label around it .off in 1 second. Wow it’s heavy . No joke here looks like it will work for all types of ways grill ,pizza oven , regular oven - and no wood so dishwasher safe ! - but the not so strong people may have to hold with 2 hands - but I cracked my last 2 wood ones by washing them in dish washer . So I am all good with the weight - I like !

Very sturdy

Sturdy enough to lift the pizza stone and pizza if needed. It works perfectly and I can store outdoors undercover where I grill as it’s all stainless. Yes kinda heavy, but I need the exercise. ????

Great quality but don’t fear the wrong sticker adhesive used by this clueless manufacturer.

This is a high quality cooking implement but it sure is a pain in the neck to clean before use. If you decide to buy it, be ready to peel off the plastic top layer of the sticker as much as you can, then soak the remaining paper sticker for at least 2 hours (or overnight) with Goo Gone or similar adhesive remover. Use a plastic putty knife to scrape off the sticker remnants. Without using such drastic measure, it may frustrate you and cause a week of loss from your lifespan. The manufacturer is really clueless about how wrong their choice of adhesive is for the humongous sticker. Other than that, this is a kitchen tool that is heavy duty and can be expected to last a cook’s lifetime.

What's so hard about getting the label off?

Just arrived today while I was at work so I haven't used it yet, but I was expecting to have a difficult time removing the label. But my wife had it off before I got home from work. She used a hair dryer, and the label easily peeled off in one piece. So I give it 5 stars for easy to clean (It also has no crevices for gunk to hide in, and the folding handle allows the peel to be put in the dishwasher if it should ever need it.) I give it 4 starts for maneuverability because the handle is either flat, or at a 30 degree angle to the peel. (I think 15degrees would be better) and the pin lock mechanism that holds it flat is difficult to work. Appears to be very sturdy, and the folding handle makes storage easy. It can go in the cabinet with the cookie sheets. I'll write another review after I have used it, but I had to let everyone know that the label actually comes off pretty easily.

Fire the sticker department

I was going to give this a one star because I was so frustrated with the damn sticker. I knew it was dropped off and the pizza making was in process already before opening the box... all I could think about was the meeting where some packaging engineer presented the biggest baddest sticker anyone has ever seen and everyone cheered. It won't come off! Then I remembered an old bottle of Goo Gone I had and it saved the wood fired pizza day... the product itself is great and love the folding handle. Since my hindsight has mellowed, I'm only deducting one star so that someone fires the sticker happy fool that sabotaged a good product.

Lady of the house will probably not like this product.

This steel peeler looks well made, and feels hefty and almost even industrial (which is a good thing in my view). The folding mechanism works well and snaps solidly in to place when opened and does not jiggle; maybe a little too solidly as it is a little difficult to fold again. Certainly does not feel cheap. However, all of this "solidness" comes at a price. As previous reviews have stated, it is rather heavy. I would have to say that it is probably too heavy for home use. The lady of the house will not appreciate this product (she actually told me I should return it). We ended up keeping it because I thought we ought to give it try at the upcoming outdoor pizza party. She ended up buying another lighter wooden one from a local store (which is fine since steel and wood have different advantages and we could use both). The rubber protective cladding on the handle is not well designed as it comes off rather easily, and over the years, I'm sure it will get lost. I took 2 stars off for the excess weight, the locking mechanism that's too tight, and the loosely attached rubber handle cover.

Pizza time

Product had everything I was looking for...fits in my oven, foldability, and clean design. The sticker decal is an issue as others have said. I set mine outside it’s over 100° out then peeled the sticker off then put a little goo gone on the residue and it wiped off easily with a paper towel. Work smart not hard!

Very sturdy.

Very sturdy. Label as mentioned is difficult to remove. Trick is heat slightly on stove opposite side to remove easily. Don't try to peel off cold.

Good size and thick materials tho

The mechanism that holds it in open position is flimsy. I tried to hold a can of beer and it unclipped. I will either have to modify it to stay open all the time or find a way to modify the mechanism. Odd system. It should only open in one direction, not a full 360. Good size and thick materials tho. Clean cuts and finished well.

Good quality product. Needs a better handle closing mechanism

Excellent quality product. Handle can be folded and is well balanced. It is a bit difficult to close the handle and if you are not careful you may pinch or hurt yourself closing it. If they had a better way to close the handle I would give it a 5 star

Great product - horrible experience removing label

Only providing 3 stars on this purchase. Not because it is not a good product that is sturdy and well made....it is for the very very poor packaging of this product. They put a huge sticker that is impossible to get off without using some very strong solvent. I tried soaking and it took the top layer off but but the incredible sticky glue used to put the 9x9” sticker on the plate of the peel. I then used oven cleaner no luck, I then tried to burn off and made it worse. I then used acetone and worked it with a wooden scraper and it finally came off and washed it with lots of hot soap and water. The marketing team at Broil king seriously needs to look into this issue as it was a horrible experience. Once I got this label off, the product is great. It really is and is a excellent value.....BUT be prepared to spend time working to get this label off so you can use it !
