Has worked very well so far

I've read other reviews stating this is not sturdy, bent, and/or pulled out of the ground, so am relating my experience with it. Before installing, I soaked the ground at the installation point with a water hose for about an hour. Then I pushed the stake in as far as it would go by hand. Next, I used a block of wood and sledge to pound the stake the rest of the way (about 6") until the collar contacted the ground (minor marring on the top of the stake from the wood). I let the ground dry out for a day before hooking up chains for my dogs (who weigh about 60 lbs total). I have seen no issues with the stake bending or coming out of the ground and have been using this for 2 weeks now.

nearly 6 years later and it's still holding!!

I purchased one these in 2017 and its still in the ground and still holding. My GSD is 100lbs. One thing I did that may have contributed to it lasting so long and staying put is that I placed springs between each 25 foot span tie-out cable and at the end where it attaches to stake using link carabiners. The springs do a great job of helping absorb the shock when my dog runs to the end of his line. I just ordered another one for the back yard.

Holds 2 dogs

Have 2 young huskies and it has not move with them pulling hard on the anchor. Have 2 anchors because it's easier than pulling one out of the ground. The huskies around 60lbs each. Will buy again if these ever wear out.

This stake is easy to get in the ground & easy to take out. Couldn't find this style anywhere but amazon. Just what I needed.

easy to install, can flush-mount into ground, easy to use

I use two of these on my property. If you don't want to worry about hitting it with the mower, dig out under the cup and pound it flush with just the loop and top showing. Then clip a carabiner to your rope or leash and can be removed easily for mowing or so the leash doesn't bury under in the snow. Then just reattach when ready. Our dirt has clay so once in, it's not going anywhere regardless of how strong the pooch is. If it's sandy or loamy where you live, you might need a different setup. A sledge hammer works well to install, it you don't have one you should get one or swipe your neighbor's. These anchors can be removed but it's easier to make sure you really want it where you install it. I laughed at one review where the guy bagged on it because he pulled his out with a 4-wheeler and it bent. Yeah, what did you expect would happen? Try to be smarter than a piece or steel next time.

Sturdy Ground Stake with 360 Degree Swivel Dome!

I could not be happier with the Boss Pet Prestige 21" Dome Stake! I have been using this stake for a few months now and it has not budged. My dog is a 50 pound Australian Shepherd Mix, and I use this stake along with a 25 foot cable tie out when I let her out to do her business and also just to let her get some fresh air on sunny afternoons. I use thePet Champion Large Tie Out Cable for Dogs Up to 90-Pound tie out with this product, and the combination works great for my girl. The dome top on this stake allows for the cable to swivel 360 degrees all the way around, and she does not get caught up on things. We do not have a fenced in yard, and I cannot leave my dog unleashed because she likes to sprint (that's the Aussie in her!) when she sees or hears something. This stake and tie out allows her to have more outside time. She can have some outside time alongside my two girls without me having to worry about her running into the street. Sometimes, she does forget she is leashed, and she will try to run at full speed, and she always stopped when she reaches the end of her 25 feet! I know that it is a lot of force when she tries to take off running, and this ground stake has not budged! I am really happy that I purchased this product.

High quality

I am really impressed with the quality of this dome stake. there is not one part that I would change. I do however question the top part which is slightly unlevel top part (see image) not that it would affect the product in any way. Mine is 20" not 21" but that's no big deal either. I think this is a steal at the price it sells for, it would have cost me more to make one. The product is Made in China for those who shop NA products only.

Good product

I have purchased 2 now. I love thats it’s yellow for easy visibility. Easy to push into ground. I use it for my golden retriever. She isn’t a super aggressive so not sure if it would hind a more powerful pooch. But it’s portable for camping or moving to new location. I recommend.

Super tough for the simplicity

No tangling either. We own a 110lbs Bernes mountain dog & she broke the (old) rope before this thing let go (no harm to the dog, the rope was past due). Plus, it's super easy to install.

Stays in ground

We have a 60 pound dog with very high energy and keeps it in the ground no problem, the flat top works wonderfully and doesn’t get tangled around it! Great buy
