Slow cut!

Tests your patience with this cut for glass tiles, but it cuts it well if you cut slow and it looks really nice when you’re done, I will buy it again!

Cuts Glass Beautifully

Some reviewers claim that this blade does not cut glass well. My experience is that it cuts glass perfectly! I used this blade to cut glass mosaic tiles and it did so with absolutely no chipping and with a perfectly clean cut. I could not be happier with this blade. The key to a good cut is to not force the blade through the tile, but make the cut slowly at the natural rate that the blade wants to cut. I highly recommend this blade for cutting glass tile.

blade drift on porcelain

small porcelain tile may do okay, but even on a great tile saw, there is too much blade drift over 24”. I thought it may be my saw and spent several hours making sure it was set up properly. just prior to reaching peak frustration, I put my old blade back in and it cut perfectly straight though because of its age and wear, had a few chips. Had to stop and get another blade. I tried to by the same blade as I had before and clearly failed. Always make test cuts…glad I did.

They were right

I have cut maybe 3 dozen cuts with this blade and now it feels like I have to force it to cut. It started out great but today was a battle slow and chattery (even broke a tile from pushing on it). I am not cutting marble or glass all I am cutting terracotta tile. I have read others who had the same problem. I will not buy this blade or Bosch again.

Excellent Performing Glass Blade - works great in mixed material mosaics.

Blade works excellent . Left glass edge looking clean and smooth ready to install with no additional polishing required.. I also used this to cut glass Mosaic Tiles with Aluminum and Stone tiles mixed in also. Never missed a beat. Every cut was perfect and not one wasted piece. Cuts normal ceramic tile clean and crisp. Also left in saw and used with ceramic tiles with stainless steel face. Did the job and only a minor file of the stainless steel edge was required to remove burrs. I should have switched back to my other blade and saved the wear on this one but it did do the job.

Combinado con un esmeril = cortes en materiales delicados

Si quieres cortar materiales delicados de mampostería (loseta, azulejo, porcelana) con un esmeril necesitas este disco. Su orilla es "continua", por lo que es mas lento que los segmentados o "turbo" (punto medio entre ambos), pero eso mismo ayuda a que "despostilles" menos el material que estas cortando. Apto para corte en seco o mojado. Mejor precio que en cualquier otra parte, ademas que solo aquí pude conseguir en tamaño de 5 pulgadas, un poco mas de profundidad de corte que el clásico 4 1/2... Si vas a cortar en seco y no quieres polvo usa el accesorio Bosch GA50DC; eso si, tu esmeril tiene que ser tambien bosch y ser compatible, saludos...

Chips ceramic and porcelain tile

I was very surprised that a Bosch product would perform so poorly. It chipped the ceramic and porcelain tile, not just small chips but big chucks, regardless of what speed I guided the tile at. And I definitely do not recommend this for glass tile. It cost me 3 sheets of mosaic tile ($20 a sheet). I bought an Ox blade and sent it back ( w/o using it) when the Bosch arrived, I wish I hadn't. I gave it 2 stars because of the fast delivery.

there a little pricey but then again you get what you pay for, we do a lot of tile and there the best blades we have used so far

Clean dry cut

Was not too sure because of all bad reviews, but I needed a 10 in blade for dry cut and choices were very limited so I took that Bosch DB1043s. So far so good; I had to cut a large tile at a vertical angle using my table saw and it did a very clean cut, no smoke; just remember to go VERY slowly ...
