Dewalt DW4764 10" porcelain blade
Bought for Porcelain tile. Have not used it yet but did install the blade on my saw. There is a slight side to side wobble on the blade when the saw is turned on but don't know how this will affect the cut. I think this may be contributing to chipping indicated in other reviews but won't know until I cut some tiles. If it cuts well, I will rate the blade higher.

Outstanding blade
Great blades for smooth cuts

Not recommended for cutting porcelain tile
I bought this blade based on all the other reviews saying how nicely this blade cut porcelain tile (granted some of them were somewhat mixed which should have been enough to deter me but oh well). Fact is, this saw cuts fast but it also chips the heck out of the porcelain tile I was installing. Using the no name blade that my saw came with out of the box, it would cut the same tile much nicer, cleaner, with only minimal chipping. When that blade stopped cutting and I bought this Dewalt blade figuring it would be even better. Man was I disappointed. I'd say that chipping was 5 to 10 times worse with this Dewalt blade. I returned the Dewalt and went to Home Depot and bought a KD (King Diamond) Tile Pro saw blade (based on some other reviews) and the KD blade worked just as well, if not even better, that the original saw blade I was using prior to the Dewalt. If you don't care about the chipping then this blade is fine I guess but I will not buy it again either. I also think that the segmented design of the blade contributes to the aggressive cutting action and thus the chipping. I would stick to continuous rim blades if you are looking for a smoother cut on porcelain. Just my 2 cents!

Great blade with very minimal chipping
I have used this 10-inch DEWALT tile blade on over 700 sq ft of ceramic tile. Every now and then I use a solid brick to bring out the diamonds and clean up the blade a little. So far, I have had great results with this blade compared to the one that came with my wet saw. The durability has been great so far, and still have 1300 sq ft of tile left to cut. I made some cuts on some porcelain samples I had laying around and the quality of the cuts was even better than what I get on the ceramic tiles I've been cutting. Cutting other materials like thick paving bricks works like a charm. It's quite pleasing to see the nice smooth edges on a brick that was cut with this blade. Even with the same amount of water supply and flow, the blade does a great job at dissipating the heat and staying cool. I have even accidentally cut some stone while forgetting to turn the water back on. Blade is still cutting like new. Would highly recommend! Will update as this blade is continued to be used. Pros: - Great durability - Minimal chipping at slower speeds on ceramic - No flex observed in blade when cutting at angles - 5/8-inch arbor - .060-inch thickness Cons: - Blade cut outs tend to get clogged with dust easily - Needs periodic blade sharpening (a paving brick does just fine)

Decent blade
Cut very consistently but did chip all the edges of the tile. Fine in my case since all cuts were under baseboard but 4 stars for not being clean.

Good, reliable and relatively long-lasting blade
In switching from XP to XP4 blades, I found longer lasting, smoother cuts, and no chipping from the blade on porcelain tile. I do dress the blade from time to time to maintain the diamond quality (using the Raimondi Diamond Blade Resin Dressing Stone). It is easy to recommend with regular production cutting where there is less critical. I seem to qualify this a bit only because for small tile cuts that require precision (not field tile), the blade gives gives a tad and change the bevel distance. For example, in a niche where pieces are small, beveled and require precise cuts, I prefer a less pliant blade. But you can remedy this a lot by not rushing the cuts or other steps to ensure the blade doesn't move. Perhaps I need more skills. SO, for the price, this is an excellent blade.

Blade wobbles on my brand new Dewalt table saw
This blade is not the quality I usually get from Dewalt products. Cheap knock off??

Excellent cuts in porcelain tile.
I just finished tiling a hallway with porcelain tile. There are 8 doors and the hall is T shaped so I had over 60 cuts and many L-shaped cuts. My old MX saw is 25 years old and this new blade made it feel new again. This blade will cut a sliver less than 1/8" wide the full length of the tile and not break it. This is on a commercial MX wet saw like most Home Depot stores rent. Fantastic blade.

Pleased so far
This blade replaced the original no-name blade that came with my water-cooled Chinese tile saw, which wasn't all that great even when new. The Dewalt blade chewed through 1,500 sq ft of hard 3/8" porcelain tile for a new bathroom very well, with no need to score the tile surface first and very minimal chipping. It went through softer marble accent tiles like butter. I have 2 more bathrooms to do next week and I'm actually looking forward to the tile cutting part. I could never say that about the old blade. I haven't had the blade long enough to gauge longevity, time will tell for that.

Not acceptable
Not sure if the blade is defective. Put on my Dewalt wet saw and it chipped the tile a lot on the first run. Was originally using the regular XP blade and even this worn out blade chipped a lot less than the new XP4 that I used. There is no way I could put this tile up in the bathroom reno I am doing, chips are very noticeable.

Last longer if you don’t push it
I do a lot of tile and used many different blades but always go back to this one
