I LOVE IT
tougher, deeper, sturdier than another one I own. This is now my primary. The other is the secondary for a houseguest who comes every year and loves to putter in my garden. LOVE THIS ONE.

Not really canvas
Material seems to be a type of plastic, so it will probably age and crack and disintegrate within two years. I was hoping for a true, cloth, canvas.

Potentially Dangerous for Hefalumps
There I was happily sitting using a hand rake to remove moss from our lawn, enjoying the sun and wondering what that funny sound was... until I was unceremoniously dumped 4" onto my backside. As I lay spreadeagled on the lawn, listening to the pleasant sound of my wife's hysterical giggles I realized the sound was the stitching giving out. In retrospect I was lucky as I had been storing the trowel and hand rake in the pockets and either of them could have left a nasty bruise. Examining the stitching, it is a single row with simple thread so it is not reinforced at all and is not suitable for 15 stone men, possibly a good buy for petite women or children.

Take the strain
This is a lightweight sturdy well made seat the stitching is excellent and looks extremely durable . It saves the strain on knees and back and with the integrated tool holders its easy to move around the garden. The material is water resistant and is easily cleaned after use,this item is a great value piece of equipment. Update*** 21st May 2017 and this is still as good as the day I bought it, once you get over thinking that you look like a wally sitting on this whilst weeding you won't be disappointed, I used this regularly, the stitching is still perfect and no blemishes on the metal frame. Brilliant value

Poor design
Looks good at first, but wait a while. I've had two of these (first was a present and broke after about 3 years, put it down to bad luck). The second was bought 13 months ago and has just broken also. Same problem: the stitching comes away on one side. I weigh 188 pounds so heavy though not super-heavy. The problem clearly is that the stitching provides the support and is just not strong enough. Maybe OK for those with smaller build. Have approached the then supplier - General Stores Online - and they say 12 months guarantee only. I'm about 3 weeks out of guarantee. In my view, poor product and poor service.

must have garden accessory
This stool is fantastic, its the third one i have bought. May i suggest to the manufacturer that they strengthen the stitching which attaches the fabric to the metal frame. Mine has split on two occasions rendering the stool unuseable. Nevertheless, i love the stool and if they could improve the construction it should pay dividends.

Flimsy and not durable
Now looking to replace this after two summers’ light use. The seat canvass ripped at the seams last summer and now the tool bag is falling apart. This is a cheaply made product now destined for recycling due to poor materials and shoddy manufacture. Yes, things don’t last for ever and to use a cliche, you get what you pay for. This product falls into the cheap and cheerful category.
