Very Effective

Brought for my old Swiss Miss 715 and works like great...
Not sure how to grade sleap move, but I bought my Swiss-o-Miss or whatever from Kohls about 10 years ago. Put it away for a few years and kinda forgot about it during a move. Pulled it back out after a cheaper one burned out and fired it up and it was working great. Only problem was, all the buildup on the inside of the filter and reservoir. So I found this replacement cartridge, a new filter and it's working like new. Side note, really wish they still sold them as it's on it's last legs, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

The Filter Works Well, But Must Be Rinsed Well Before Use
I've replaced the Hydro Cell filter in my humidifier many times. It's effective in keeping the humidifier tank smelling fresh for months with my soft water. Each time I replace the filter, I rinse it for longer than instructed, because carbon dust can be seen for longer than expected during rinsing. I also squeeze the filter gently during the rinse to help express the remaining dust. Even so, carbon deposits collect on the ultrasonic diaphragm after a while, and there are tiny carbon fragments in the tank. Both conditions are easily remedied during cleaning, and neither affects the performance of the humidifier.

I bought a few Air-O-Swiss humidifiers a few years ago based on the good reviews. My first year, I was fairly happy and thought it was money well spent. I properly maintained it and even used distilled water at every use. Later, it was revealed that the expensive silver stick was no longer being used. I kept using the old one for the next 2 years. I was about to get different humidifiers before finding out that these Hyrdo Cells could replace the silver stick. Now, the year before using these, I didn't use anything. I did still use distilled water though. There was a "funny" smell when I did. It wasn't strong, but I could detect it. This year, I bought these, and immediately noticed the smell was gone. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and the humidifier is like new.

quality of an item is most important
i purchased these to go in my humidifier. I've had my machine for about 8 years and for it to keep running without any issues, I need these along with the demineralization water filter. I did some research ahead of purchasing but not many companies offer what my machine needs and they last a long time. I feel confident in ordering from Amazon.

Good product, but much too expensive here.
I've used these for years with Air-O-Swiss (now Boneco) humidifiers. Went to re-order this spring, and the PRICE! Approximately three times what I paid two years ago. Found them at about 35% of the Amazon price at Best Buy. Again, good product, but not at this price.

Great value for the money.
Great value. These are hard to find at retail in Canada. Delivery was quick. Very satisfied. The Boneco/Swissair units are very high quality, and I've had a problem free experience with it.
