Good product and affordable

My fish tank has yellow water in it. I tried to chance the water multiple times but it did not work. Then I read and found out this carbon bags in filter and you will see the difference. After putting in the filter I saw the change of water in 48hrs. I will recommend it to all.

Helped Cure Bacteria Bloom Overnight! Use for Crystal Clear Water in Fish Tank!

We decided to do a deep clean four days ago on our saltwater tank. After the clean it did not return to its previous state of crystal clear water and appeared very cloudy with white particles. We assumed that we had kicked up some funk in the sand and created a bacteria bloom. This was the first time we have encountered this, so we did our research and decided we needed to over oxygenate the water, and then add fine filtration to the system. When this first started we did a water change, and added a fresh zorb pack to help clear the tank. That with increased aeration seemed to help but was not making quick enough progress to settle our nerves. After four days of waiting for the cloudy water to clear, we decided to add these active carbon filters to the mix! After a good rinse we added these to the filter and OVER NIGHT they seemed to have completely cleared up the tank! It was a relief to wake up to clear water and happy fish! Overall the cure to the bacteria bloom seemed to be these active carbon filters, and water aeration (we added a new bubbler)! These are an affordable option that did the trick and arrived as expected! They are small, but I just used two in my filter to create full coverage. We will keep these on hand and incorporate these into our tank maintenance moving forward for crystal clear water!

Decent product

I used two pads in my 52L and in a couple of days my corals were actually suffering from the sharp drop in phos levels. I removed the pads for a couple days then added agin but this time with only 1 pad and this was better for my corals. You could always introduce slowly if you want to add more pads. They last a long time and even pickup detritus if used early in your filter chamber. One of the most significant benefits of this product is its ease of use. Ideal for what I was trying

I did not use these for their manufactured purpose I had a layer of detergent on my outdoor pond, mostly fairy liquid caused by giving a teenager 'grey water' to recycle on the garden. Filters had absorbed and circulated it before I noticed. Partial water changes were not helping, after several days and out of desperation jammed two of these into an all-in-one filter (on top of the foam filter) and by the following morning these bags were frothy and the pond was clear of visible bubbles. Several online forums had suggested multiple charcoal impregnated foam pads for my predicament, these seemed to do the trick

Yes, l recommend ????

To be honest l have always bought & used these as recommended by Fluval, whether or not l need to replace as often as they say, l don’t know? What l do know is l have stuck to the “routine” for the 3yrs l have owned the tank & have no complaints (neither do the fish who are still swimming around) so it may work out a bit expensive but l have a nice clean tank with clear water & healthy fish!!!

Much easier than loose charcoal.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Good value for money. Individual replacement net bags of charcoal. Very quick and easy to use. These are a good alternative to loose charcoal as there is virtually no mess. A simple hassle free filter change. These work really well with our Juwel 125 l tank filter system. Would definitely purchase again. 5*
