Good blending stump for pencil
Great tortillion . I’ve had problems finding a stump that I like after my favorite store closed that had the best ones. They were super hard, compressed paper that didn’t feather apart. This one blends great, but does tend to feather at the tip. I think that it is hollow in the core instead of being solid as I would prefer, but as I have tried so many since my store has closed over a year ago, this really is the best I have found and if you are looking for one that works well.. this is a great one.

Soft, but very nice!
I was initially hesitant to go with these due to the price compared to many of the other available stumps and some of the comments about how soft/spongy they are. I went ahead and got them and must say they are very nice. They are much softer than most other stumps out there, but it is actually in a very nice way. They hold their shape well and blend very nicely. They also hold quite a bit of material and can be used as a drawing tool much more effectively than most harder stumps. If you are very heavy handed (I tend to be at times!), they may initially seem a bit too soft, but after getting used to them and the pressure required you should be able to use them very effectively.

By far the best blenders I’ve ever used. They give soft blends without marring the paper. I use them for graphite drawing.

The best blending stumps!
These were recommended by a pastel artist for their softness and ability to blend. I’ve not purchased three packages, and will buy more in the future. Amazon is the only place that carries them!

Favorite blending stumps for pastel work
Much softer than regular blending stumps. I prefer them to all others I have tried. They are a bit pricey but I'd say they're superior to others.

Blends graphite much better than your fingers
The media could not be loaded. Simple to use, blends pencils much quicker, cleaner and smoother than just your fingers alone. It is a worthwhile purchase if you work with pencils or graphite. You can easily clean and sharpen it with some sand paper, using a sharp edge to trim it off or to sharpen may not be as ideal.

These are a staple in my art box.
These are a staple in my art box. They are made from rice paper so they are smoother and easier to use for me. AFTER USING A WEEK OR SO EDIT: I neede to basically chop the tips off the blenders as they are so soft they flap about all over the place when you are 'rubbing' them on your art. I had a generic one years ago which I used to death it was the size of my pinkie and very hard paper and was perfect at blending I wish I could find one like that again. Will not be buying these again, the large one is ok but the thin ones just cant manage a normal piece of artwork they bend and the tips get really flimsy

I’d never used these before I always used tissue paper or something similar to do it but since I’ve found these I’ll not be looking back! These are so worth it and easy to use and worth the money, it’s a shame they don’t come with a little sanding pad to sand them on though because I wouldn’t have guessed that that’s what your ment to use to clean/sharpen them (they’re really cheap to get by the way) and they’re made of basically paper but a soft kind of paper not hard like cardboard! All in all they’re totally worth it and would recommend to anyone who wants to blend shades better and soften features.

Unsuitable for harder coloured pencils.
They arrived promptly and were well packaged. Unfortunately they are no good for blending harder coloured pencils which is what I wanted them for. I believe they are good for use with graphite pencils. Should come with disclaimer on packaging that unsuitable for hard coloured pencils

Helped to add an extra depth to my drawings
I'm not exactly much of an artist, but I've been working hard over recent months to become a better artist; and I decided to get one of these because various drawing channels on youtube recommended them. These have definitely done a good job by smoothening out my shading and although the ends of the blending sticks do get dirty quite quickly, they are still very much usable - and I thought it was great value for money.
