Worked Perfectly

I bought the slightly used one at a reduced price. Was brand new like someone opened ot and changed their mind it was brand new, never used. One of my best purchases.

Works perfect and easy to assemble

Nice tool for trimming edges. Pulled it out of the box and assembled the handle and safety cover in 5 minutes so it was ready to use. I cut several bushes and then cut down a Reed plant. Did the job as needed.

So far great

So far this has worked great. I was surprised for the price it had the power to trim my arborvitae that are 15 feet tall. It is pretty light and for the cost if it only last 3-4 years it still is worth it to me.

Best trimmer for ornamental shrubs

I have been using a 22" trimmer for the last 25 years. I have a lot of rounded shrubs that go up to 4-5' in diameter. My old trimmer seemed to only cut well in one direction and was a little heavy. I thought i would get a new one and get a 20". When I read the reviews on the 18" and it was on sale. I decided to try it out. This trimmer is absolutely perfect for trimming ornamental bushes. One thing that I did do which everyone would say is a no-no, is I removed the safety trigger switch. This trimmer is very sharp and I get the trimming done in half the time as compared with my old trimmer. It cuts very clean and is super light weight for one hand operation when reaching. The only thing is that it's not for thick branches. I hope this thing lasts. To do my larger shrubs, I bought a Garcare 2-1 pole trimmer which works very well but is heavy. It would not be good for regular round bushes because it is too long. I don't mind dragging a cord around so to me the perfect set-up is this 18" trimmer for the ornamentals and the pole trimmer for the larger. Don't get the 2-1 pole trimmer.

Good hedge trimmer for price!

I had to replace another trimmer that went bad and picked this one up, having some other B&D products that I've been happy with. This is a pretty lightweight trimmer with good length (18") that handles your typical "clean-up" tasks pretty easily. I didn't have any issues cutting through smaller tree branches or shrubs. It works great!

Works for what I need could be a little stronger

Gets the job done faster then pruning but motor on it is somewhat weaker then what I expected but can't complain to much as it was pretty cheap compared to everything else I saw. Gets through most of my shrubs pretty easily but I have one privacy hedge that it has a hard time with some of the branches. It still cuts it just takes a little longer overall beats pruning all of it by hand and saves me a lot of time.

Seems to be a good product

I bought to replace an older Black & Decker trimmer. Like a night and day difference. I guess the blades got dull over the years. It was nice that this one could fit in a bit thicker branches to trim. This was a good purchase for me but if I had to do it again, I think I would go cordless. The new brushless tools are surprising powerful and it's nice not to be tethered.

las aspas tienen un espacio considerable, ya que luego hay arbustos con ramas anchaas En otra opinión comentaron que tenía un protector para las aspas, por lo cual fue un motivo más para comprarla, sin embargo NO viene con el protector Lo que no me gusta, es que genera aire el motor y la salida es en donde lo agarras, por lo que si hay un arbusto alto, recibes el aire en la cara Espero no tener que usar la garantía ya que viene de USA

Very happy

This is a great hedge trimmer, and light enough for me, a woman, to use. It makes quick work of trimming up our hedges, and smaller branches on our trees. Just make sure you lubricate the blades maybe once a year so that it stays in good shape.

Sencillamente me encantó.

Me encantó. Excelente funcionamiento y seguridad en el encendido, lo que evita encender por accidente. Ideal que trajera una funda para la cuchilla. Se la haré para transportarla con mayor seguridad ya que mi jardín es grande y requiero movilidad.
