Like The Honey Badger!! IT DON'T CARE!!

TENACIOUS, this Baby packs an amazing punch!! It never slows down and just keeps going and going and going at a smooth, powerful, aggressive pace regardless of the density of what you're cutting through.. The ease that its teeth glide through almost everything reminds you of a nice electric carving knife slicing through a hot Thanksgiving Day turkey!! To be sure, I don't think I'd ever try using it on anything in the 5/8" range that it's rated to, simply because I have common sense, and a sweet Bow Saw for cutting through those branches.. A fantastic feeling to use after a decade+ of messing with a cordless rechargeable that had finally (and in hindsight, gladly) puked out on me two years ago.. At first it seemed counterintuitive that something so lightweight could be that sturdy and efficient, but it certainly lived up to my hopes, and more!! Kudos to BLACK+DECKER for developing such a Sweet machine!!

Does the job

I got tired of the mediocre action of my rechargeable battery powered hedge trimmer and decided to go for the corded version. Excellent move! It's much more powerful, and always works. I would probably opt for one with a longer blade if I were to debit over.

Great hedger trimmer!

We have a sunshine ligustrum hedge that grows rapidly and has to be trimmed at least once a month, usually twice. Didn't need a heavy duty hedger for the job. The shrubs have thin branches and small leaves. This B&D hedger trimmer is perfect for the job and for the price you can't beat it. Highly recommend!

Thing is awesome second one I have had in 20 years. That's because the original lasted for that duration. Perfect for small to medium thickness of greenery, not for big branches, trees, etc.

Hedgehog saw

I thought the performance of the equipment wasn't going to be great because of the price value, I was wrong. It performed great and it did a good job but please keep in mind that you need to keep it clean and add a little of lubrication on the saw to so it can last you a long time.

Very good hedge trimmer with NO battery hassle

No battery hassle (for the ones old enough to remember that a power cord is not the end of the world). To my surprise : This thing really cuts branches up to 5/8th of an inch. It's working very well. Don't forget to lubricate it (JIG-A-LOO or equivalent) and store it in a dry place.

Just what I wanted!

Very light, very sturdy and very sharp! It works great! Note, there is no Cord with it. It has a plug ready to be used with an extension cord. So, if you are hoping for a short cord already being on it so you can use it with a close-by plug, you would still need to buy an extension cord. I like it this way though! Powered equipment with cords on them usually find an electrical issue with the cord after a few years, especially at the point where the cord is attached to the device.

Muy útil, excelente calidad/precio

Perfecto para podar setos, arboles pequeños e incluso hasta pasto. No incluye cable (pero es muy barato), corta muy bien incluso corta ramas más gruesas de lo indicado cuando se usa de ambos lados de la rama para ir desgastando, relativamente buenos materiales, ligera de usar. Por el momento se mantiene afilada y sin problemas después de unas 5 o 6 sesiones de un par de horas cada una, espaciadas en algunos meses. Muy recomendable. Gran diferencia de facilidad y tiempo de uso contra unas tijeras de podar.

Quality as expected from Black+Decker, suit my project need

I chose this product based on previous experience. This trimmer reinforces my trust of Black+Decker, a brand that manufactures quality gardening tools for reasonable price. I chose a shorter blade in exchange for ability to cut thicker branches. It is light weight and easy to use. It is better to have a corded trimmer, I never need to worry about battery life, I can take my time to trim and get the result I need. Noise volume is reasonable. The engine air flow is strong, it feels a bit strange in the beginning but I get used to it after a while.

Good buy

I wish I got one of these sooner! It worked great at trimming my hedges. I decided to go for this one as it was cheaper than the cordless ones but some places were harder to get to since I had to move the extension cord around and over the bushes. I’m never going back to hedge clippers again! It actually made it kind of fun rather than a chore.
