It's okay for interim sweeps.

As others said, the handle is too short for most people. But I only wanted this for interim cleanings of my living room rug - it's a light color and dark dog hair and bits of dried leaves collect on it. For 20.00, this works for me. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. It picks up the dog hair and bits of leaves! 2. The price is great. 3. It's lightweight, small, and easy to store. Cons: 1. As I said, the handle is too short. It comes in 3 metal pieces to screw together. It would have been very easy to include a 4th piece to make it longer. 2. The brush is in the middle, and it doesn't swivel, which means you can't use it near anything. So I can use it on the main part of my rug, but not near the coffee table because I can't get the middle of it near the table feet. This is probably the biggest con. 3. They're right that it's relatively easy to empty, but it's also kind of yucky, too. 4. While it does pick up dog hair and bits of leaves, it doesn't pick up anything larger than bits, like full dried leaves or twigs. Altogether, this is worth it for me because of what I wanted it for and the low price made up for the cons. But for most people, this won't do the job.

For the price it does a great job.

It's great for quick clean ups. I use it at the bar. Quickly picks up smashed chips and other snack foods. Doesn't kick up dust, like a broom will.

Great quick clean up tool

I loved how easy it was to put together and use. I used it on my area rug when I couldn’t see dirt but when I emptied it, it was full of just small debris and dog hair works quick and easy. Definitely worth the money. Great product.

Great for quick pick ups

I use this often to do a quick clean up. Work great especially on scatter rugs and low pile carpet. Very lightweight.

Handy for doorway rug

Bought so I wouldn’t have to get my vacuum out so often to clean my entryway rug. It’s small enough I can tuck it out of the way. Does a decent job picking up dirt and small debris. Does so-so with sand. The handle part is short (that’s 5’3” me calling something short…;-) and no one in the family has figured out how to keep the top part of the handle on for some reason….. Overall a decent solution for the situation and I do not feel it was a waste of money but I will probably splurge for a cordless vacuum in the near future to replace it.

Quiet and quick

It's not as good as a vacuum but it is very quiet, I use it for entry way rug spot treatment when I don't want to lug out my canister vac, it is not good on tile floors. but if you have a traffic area and someone else is on a call or working from home this is a good trade off. No power needed and cleans up the sawdust from the garage projects very well. No complaints from me here.

Works well on rugs, not hardwood or linoleum

I bought this for our screened in lanai which has some sort of low “fake grass carpet stuff” glued to the cement. I tested it on our rugs inside as well, and our hard wood floor and linoleum. The only thing it wasn’t great on is our hardwood floor and linoleum, where it didn’t really do anything. The handle is a bit short and I’m not a tall person, if you are tall you will definitely be leaning over while using it. Otherwise it works perfectly for my purposes which is very low “grass look” stuff, and also on tight rugs. It does not work on hard wood or linoleum floors.

Easy Picikup

Easy to assemble. Easy to store. Picks up all loose crumbs, etc., from my new vinyl floor and from area rug.

Decent carpet sweeper

It works good for the most part, not great on bare floors. Biggest complaint is the handle is short could be another 6-8” longer. I’m only 5’4”and I have to bend over more than you should have to, so if you’re tall I’d pass on this one.

Works like a charm!

I remembered having something like this when my grandmother was alive. What can I say - it's still a great sweeper. We have little dogs in the house and one is a Destructo-dog who rips any toy to shreds and leaves little toy stuffing all over the house. Hauling out the big vacuum is a pain. Hauling out this one? Perfect!

Very compact

Sweeper works very well on both carpet and bare floors. Light and easy to use and store away. Only issue is the handle seems a little short to me for optimum maneuverability. Over all a good buy.

I have indoor - outdoor carpeting on my deck and it is ideal for use on this with no need for electrical outlet.
