Standard tap, long shank for custom installations
For the price you can't beat this tap. It's your standard tap faucet, nice chrome, good weight & pour action on the handle. I suppose I've seen some with more "spring" to them - but I was looking for something affordable. The 4" shank is great, will allow you to put it through a cooler, fridge, or any type of non-standard substrate for your tap (like a garage wall). The round washer/gasket on the tap side is just basic plastic - I could see this breaking some day vs metal,or something sturdier, but I wouldn't really expect anything more. Mine was from Chill Passion Inc via Amazon Prime. In my shipment I did NOT receive a tap handle, but got a second faucet piece INSTEAD - I'm actually fine with this since that's the peice that gets gummed up, and a second faucet will be awesome to have to swap out in a pinch. Plus a faucet is more expensive than a tap handle, and I figured I'd do a custom one anyways.

Works fine
My only complaint about this is the handle action is very "easy". You hardly have to apply any pressure to pull the handle. I know it sounds strange but for a tap I don't want to accident hit it and it opens up. Otherwise it works, does not leak, and came very clean.

Nice entry level kit.
Just started building a keezer and this is a very nice kit to install in the door of a converted upright fridge or freezer. The finish on all of the components was shiny and well distributed with no thin spots or flaws. The included hardware all fit nicely and the included instruction showed the correct size hole to make for the shank to go through. One thing I would recommend is to add a square plate on the back on the inside of the door to provide a little extra support and prevent mashing the insulation between the door and the plastic inner liner. All in all for 30 bucks you definitely could not go wrong. I used Amazon prime so it arrived on the third day and the shipping was free. Doesn't get much better than that. Wheelchair Bob

Great for Kegerator Conversions!
This is the least expensive shank/handle combo I've found anywhere. If you have a nice bar, you may want something nicer. However, I have an old, dented up mini-frig I converted to a kegerator, so this is more than sufficient. I've read reviews of this sticking or leaking. So far, I have not experienced this (knock on wood). I do, however, keep a tap plug with a brush in the tap when not in use. This probably helps prevent the sticking from the malt build up. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because it likes to rotate in the hole. You have to tighten it down fairly snuggly to ensure it doesn't move. I have mine so tight, I'm afraid it may crack the black, plastic bushing.

Good for the price
It does what it says on the can. For the price it's good. Delivered as promised really easy to install. Be sure to have a faucet tap wrench to connect the shank to the faucet!!! The only real criticism I have is that the action of the handle doesn't have a strong detent. You can accidentally knock or nudge it lightly without realising and it will start flowing so, I wouldn't recommend it be used in a space with a lot of foot traffic passing by. This is a minor bug for the price you're paying for it. I'll be buying another one.

Almost perfect.
Does with it says it does. My only complaint is the "throw" isn't very satisfying. The locking angle could be a little more aggressive. You have to really make sure you push it back closed and hold it a second to seal. I sometimes keep kegs not continuously hooked up to gas. As a result i have to re-pressurize on the fly. I've done this and had one of the taps open by itself due to the change in increased pressure. Feel the seal could be a smidge better but works well

Looks good.
Nice product. I disassembled it and cleaned it well. It's almost identical in construction to a major brand tap that I have. Once assembled, I found that the lever operated perfectly, and has a nice feel to it. It locks back into closed position properly, and looks well made. I hope I don't get too much lead poisoning from the brass!

Broke after one keg
Broke after tightening. Had to buy a new ones after the seal broke after the first keg. The second keg (after cleaning and putting back together) wasn’t able to go back in straight.
