well built

The tap that we got with our base kit sucked, so I had to replace it. I got this one even thought it was more expensive than some of the other brands. I'm glad I went with this one as it feels very sturdy, I have installed 2 of these and I feel like they will last years.

Worked fine for a while, now leaking

Purchased in March, now is leaking from pull tab in August. Worked fine for a while, but something went wrong between that time. Will be purchasing another from somewhere else.

Bait and switch

I just received this tap handle in the mail today, but haven't used it (I'll try to update after I've had some experience with it). It is nothing like it looks like in the pictures. What I got is identical to a generic one with the yellow plastic handle that says "pull" on it that is currently being sold for less on amazon with Prime shipping. That one also has a 3 and a half star rating with the "Most helpful critical review" claiming that it was of "Iffy quality", and some of the low ratings say that it sprays or leaks beer. That is why I didn't order the other product. Just based on my ten minutes experience handling it, I'd say that that Iffy quality pretty much summarizes my initial impressions. Edit after I've used it: Okay, so I've had this for a couple of days and I have to say that it works. (I am changing my rating from 3 stars to four) Mine doesn't leak or spray, so I can't ding it for. That being said, it doesn't feel very solid and the plastic handle feels pretty cheap. A couple of things that should be noted: 1) The air line comes in the side and the beer goes out the top. This may be obvious, but I've only ever had corny kegs that were clearly labeled, and had to look it up, so I thought that it would be good to pass that information along. 2) The rubber gasket that is included on the air-line intake (at least on my system) doesn't have a hole in it. I thought that maybe it should, but it doesn't. This does not seem to cause any problems. 3) Included with this tap are the gear for connecting the air line into the tap (hex, rubber gasket from my second point and nipple). NOT INCLUDED is the gear for connecting the liquid line out (not including this gear appears to be standard of all the keg couplers). Also, these parts are NOT STANDARD SIZES (bigger than 1/2", smaller than 3/4"), and therefore not available at Home Depot, as I thought they would be after browsing shelves for 30 mins. You may want to buy them at the same time.Connectors for Beer Lines Hope this helps. Edit 9 months later: I've downgraded my review to two stars. I am getting a small air leak from the unit that just shows up as air in about the first inch in the line out. This means that as I'm pulling a beer, about halfway into it, I get a lot of head that I either have to let settle for a few minutes, or dump. It's a lot of wasted beer/time over the course of months.

this is a great dual tap especially for 20 L Coors Kegs in Canada.

I lived it it works great for kegs. but needs caps to seal one spout to come with it. it has no leak at all i received this on march 18th and my keg beer is still as good as the day i bought it and it is April 24th now. i have the party tap to seal on side so i just lean the keg on its side and pour out the top. i think it is the best tap. just needs a cap to seal the top or spout attatchment so i dont have to tip it over.

Good price, great return policy

Ordered to replace my other couple that is for European kegs. Worked well for a week but ran out of CO2 as the coupler leaked intrernally, and was leaking with the valve disengaged from the keg. Have been using the replacement coupler for a couple weeks and has been working like it should. Great return policy, easy to return and received new one the day after notifying amazon of issue. Would recommend it due to Amazon’s great return transaction and the fact the new one has been working well after two keg changes.
