Low Clearance
Even though it states high clearance with a 1/2" step the adjusting feet bottom out. the adjusting cam need to be redesign to let adjusting feet to raise higher. On flat suface rolls fine.

Thumbs up!
Packed well enough, but if Brown Santa had delivered it, I can't say it would look as good. I would call the product itself, "good enough", but only just. Installing the lift levers was fiddly but not impossible. But at this price point they should have been installed. Packaging was thin, but adequate for the handling it received in transit. I really appreciated the stapled corners because they made the annointing of the precious without any added effort. No project can be successful without the application of the precious. This will be carrying a PM2020 wood lathe, once it arrives. I was able to size the base to fit by installing the 25 inch rails on the short side of the rectangle and a pair of 36 inch extension rails left to right. Lathe footprint is 24 x 35, mobile base closest inside dimensions are 25-3/4 x 35-3/4, roughly. Whether the wheels and casters will stand up to 592 lbs of lathe remains to be seen since it hasn't been delivered as yet. Blue bandage courtesy of the Tormek T4. That bleeping staple may not have been Tormek sharp, but it was sharp enough. Another enough.

Used on Hammer A3 Jointer/Planer
I hunted for a mobile base for a long time and settled on this one for a Hammer A3 16" jointer/planer. It's easier to install on the delivery pallet from Felder but could easily be installed on the floor. Using a multi-piece base allows the base to be put together under the machine. To assemble, lift the jointer with (2) 2x4 lumber and a car lift jack from each end with blocks like a fulcrum and slide one half of the base with the tubes installed under the machine. Block the planer on this end so the machine is not resting on the base, this will allow for some movement when installing the other end on the tubes. Lift the other end the same way and install the other half of the mobile base. Lower the jointer on this side, move the car lift jack to the other side and lift to remove blocks or knock them out with a hammer to the inside of the machine. Build some 2x4 ramps off the pallet and roll the 800 lb machine off the pallet. The wood block will drop out between the ramps while moving the machine off the pallet. I placed the wheels directly under the infeed and outfeed tables to prevent a trip hazard. The mobile base moves the machine around very well. There is a little sag in the middle between each corner where its bolted up but its plenty stout. The sag is from the bolt holes being larger than the bolts. This base has the thickest metal wall available, unless you welded your own base.

Doesn't snugly fit tablesaw bases and issues with T-extension
This is a review for the PM-3800 + 3245 extension. In general, I'm satisfied with this product. It is replacing a Delta Unisaw mobile base which is in the same price category as the combined Portamate option. I wanted the larger wheels on the Portamate for better clearance around the shop. The larger wheels do make movement much easier around the shop and the risers/levers are easy to operate with your feet. The assembly instructions were clear and straightforward. Now for the downsides: - At the tightest setting, the PM-3800 is too large in one dimension for a Delta Unisaw (and most cabinet saw bases). When you look at the picture of a squared-up base, it looks like it would work perfectly on a table saw. I ended up putting some wood in the front and back to prevent the saw from moving around in the base. - The tightest setting (to fit the saw base) will NOT accommodate the clamp/bracket of the T-extension arm. By default, the shortest base side is facing the table legs. You need to either use a wider setting OR reassemble the mobile base so the longer side faces the table legs. This results in the wheel locks being in the front and back of the saw. If you move your saw a lot, this could be annoying. The wider setting results in very little support under saw; I wouldn't recommend it. - Cutting the bar to length and tapping new holes would be OK if you're just using the base (not the extension). - The wheels on the extension arm are not 5" wheels. They aren't supporting a lot of weight so it's not as big an issue in terms of rolling resistance. - The mobile base doesn't have a lot of clearance. The larger wheels help with rolling resistance, but the feet hang down just off the floor (enough to snag a cord if you run over it). I would have liked to have had nothing under the axle height of the mobile base (with the accompanying ~2" increase in overall saw height). In summary, this would be a 5 star product if the base had a shorter length option to snugly fit a table saw base and accomodate the T-extension. An extra 1/2 inch of clearance would be a bonus.
