Flat iron style curls without tugging
I love the look of my hair when it's curled with a flat iron, but it always feels like my hair breaks and looks a little fried when I do that, so I try not to. I think it's because I press the plates together too hard and then pull. Recipe for hair damage. This thing is great because you don't have to squeeze the plates and it has the same effect. You might get some of those creases you'd get with a straightener. but I imagine that'll go away with practice. My only gripe is that the button is terrible and half the time it doesn't turn on or off, but it might just be my device, so I didn't take away any starts. I'm going to try to contact the company to see if they can help me. There are no more in stock otherwise I'd just exchange it.

Best Curls EVER!
This styling wand is ah-mazing!!! My hair used to curl with no problem, but over the past few years, I can’t get it to hold a curl. I’ve tried hot rollers, curling irons and wands. Curls from the wands held the longest, but it still wasn’t all night, and I’d end up burning myself several times before I was done. THIS Sutra Beauty Styling Wand has seriously been a game changer. I spritz some spray gel on my hair when I get out of the shower (which I tried with the other appliances, to no avail) and then I let it dry on its own. (I could blow dry it, but I usually don’t.) Once my hair is dry, I can do my whole head in less than 30 minutes! That’s huge! I have a ton of thick hair, and it’s a pretty good length. It is crazy easy to use, and I don’t have to wear a special glove or worry about burning myself! Then, the best part, THE CURLS STAY UNTIL I WASH THEM OUT!! I’ve had so many people ask what I use to get my curls, and I direct them all to the Sutra Beauty Wand! Cannot rave enough!

Didn’t work for my long hair
I have been wanting this styling wand for months! I swear I saw the ad every single time I opened Facebook or Instagram. I love the look of it and honestly it’s even prettier in person. It is so sleek! I love the rose gold with the black and the swivel cord. It was also packaged very nicely. I truly couldn’t wait to try it! Sadly, I am unimpressed. I spent hours trying to make this thing work. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so I watched YouTube videos to confirm I was using the proper technique. From what I can tell, I have been. It honestly seems pretty fool-proof. You just twist and pull down - there’s really not much room for user error. I tried larger sections of hair and smaller sections of hair. I tried it with clean hair, day old hair, and I used styling products with no noticeable difference. I have to take the tool over the same section multiple times to see any sort of a curl or wave even at the highest heat setting. I would like to add I have very long, thick hair. It is down to about the middle of my back. All the videos I found show people with hair that is much shorter. The longest I saw was about shoulder length. The length of my hair may be the problem but I have no issues getting it to hold a curl with other tools so I’m not sure that’s the problem. Sadly, I will be returning this styling wand.

This is the best curler I have bought
I have purchased many products to get nice curls so far this has been the best. I even bought the Tyme flat iron curler and this by far is better. I cannot stress how easy and awesome this wand is. It was super easy to use I got it instantly. The curls it makes are perfect. You will need to add some hairspray or something to get them to last all day, but I love to curl them one day and then wait till the next, after sleeping on them they are the perfect relaxed curl I love. I will say this would be difficult to use long hair, my hair is about shoulder length and it works well, I think with longer hair it would be harder to maneuver. I am very happy with this purchase.

Different results
Horrible. Will not curl my hair correctly. Do the same thing to different strands of hair and get completely different results. Mostly just straightens hair even after trying multiple techniques. Wanted to return but it’s been too long (took me a while to try it out). Waste of money.

Where has this been all my life?!
A lot of reviews mentioned it was hard to learn how to use this, so I almost didn’t get it, but so glad I did!! I didn’t find it hard at all to use from the very first time. WAY easier than trying to curl hair with a flat iron (I never could get that technique down). I love the swivel cord, it heats fast, and the tips of the iron don’t get hot - so you can hold on to the tip while you’re curling. :) I have medium length hair and can create beach waves in 10 minutes flat. Curls last all day. Love this thing!!

Totally Worth It!
This is an amazing wand! I have very long, fine hair and it curls it easily and holds so well, even without any styling products. Very happy with it after one use out of the box. It was quick and easy to to get beach waves. I was also able to get more curl by changing the length of time/angle I moved it down the section of hair. I’m sure the results will only get better with some practice!

Love this
So easy to use. I'm not super hair savvy but i can manage a good wavy or curly look all over with this...or straight... without burning myself, for a change. I've had it for a while now and I love love love it. After many years, with a lot of money spent, burn scars and hair pulled out, I finally have 2 perfect tools.. this and the revlon round brush dryer. I'm so happy

Not as expected
The wand does not open so it’s kind of hard to slip in the hair ....other brands same type but you can clip open the wand
