Works as intended, but ...
It would be nicer if it had several compartments in it, sort of like a TV dinner tray, so that parts removed in groups from specific sub-assemblies could be associated together. With the flat bottom, everything ferrous jumps to the circular ring magnets, while aluminum and Titanium and plastic fasteners don't stick at all and slide around into a mixed-up hodgepodge, leaving you to figure out what went where when the bolts are slightly different lengths or head types. There are a dozen different sizes and types of fasteners on my motorcycle, whereas my last Toyota truck seemed well designed to use the same size and type of fasteners wherever possible, to simplify working on it. Fewer wrench changes and "where did this one go" decisions = a happy mechanic.

Up and down, but overall pretty nice
Metal is very thick, can't even really bend this tray. Beefy. The magnets are glued on the bottom, but one of mine had already come unglued out of the box. The magnet stays on the bottom of the tray just fine with magnetic attraction. Only problem is when I stick the tray on my toolbox and pull it off, the magnet stays on the box. I will have to find some industrial adhesive and attach the magnet back to the tray. Other than that, this is a great buy!

Large enough
Its got two round magnets on the bottom of the tray that are covered in rubber. It looks like they took the magnets off the round bowls and stuck two on the bottom of this. I like the size of it, you can throw wheel lug nuts in it and junk and it holds onto them pretty good.

Best you can do without another set of hands.
I have two and use one for nuts and bolts and the other for sockets/tools while I work. They rarely lose their contents even if dropped or knocked off a bench. Getting it clean is also a breeze. The only thing I can't figure out is how to deal with all the iron oxide rust dust stuck to the underside. Every person who works with annoying small metal objects should have this. Great for working on computers/laptops as well.

Great for holding parts
Works well to hold small parts, screws, nuts, washers etc. It has a very strong magnets which holds it on even or uneven metal surfaces. It's strong magnets holds the parts in the tray even when tray is bumped. UPDATE: After about a years use the magnets became unglued from the tray. Now when you pick up the tray the magnets come loose from the tray. Then you have to remove the magnets from what they are stuck to and reattach them to the tray.

Strong Magnets
Bought three of these and they are working all around my shop. They hold like there is no tomorrow so don't expect to use a light touch to retrieve you goodie from the tray - they are there until "force" is applied to retrieve them. Good product.

This is by far the best I've ever owned as a magnetic tool tray. This tray is absolutely powerful. I used this item in every way possible, upside down, side-ways and all screws,bolts stayed in the tray and the tray stayed put as well. Very Strong and I Highly Recommend this item. No more loosing nuts and bolts. Thanks for reading.

Perfect size and great quality
Bought this for my son to use when he works on his 66 Mustang. Always something to fix or modify so he gets allot of use out of it. I'll have to buy my own when he moves out! After he finishes college, when I can afford my own!
