Cozy Sleeping Dog Sack

Our dog loves this sack!! Keeps her warm all night. It is so soft, nicely made, washable. We have a mini dachshund so the size is perfect and has so much more spare room to move around. If your dog is medium or large, they will not fit in it.

No structure

I got this for my toy puddle because he loves going under comforters. But he’s so small so I want something that was safer for him. This thing is so flimsy. The opening stays collapsed. So when my puppy wants to go in he’s looking at me and I’m looking at him and he’s like forget this lady I’m going back under the covers.

Not for big cats or scaredy cats

When I first opened this, I immediately knew this pet bed was not going to be for us. I laid it on the ground and it deflated itself into what looked like a pile of fabric just sitting there. The opening hole doesn't stay open like it looks in the photo. So my hesitant cats who are usually a little afraid of new objects wanted nothing to do with this. Once I finally coaxed one cat into getting into it by holding the hole open, he walked all the way in and then tried to turn around but got stuck in it because he's too big and had to back out of it. Poor little guy. So I didn't even bother trying to get my other cat interested. He has a different favorite bed by the same brand, so I do recommend the brand just not this model in particular. The quality and feel of the material is very nice though. If your cat is very curious and gets into everything and is small enough, it may really love this one.

Not as pictured

Not as pictured. The entrance is open, but the rest of it lies flat on floor. Cat can't get into it. They must has added some stuffing to make the inside look open.

Stays open and keeps my cat warm!

I actually bought two different Armarkat beds for my 6 lb cat - this one and the sage green cave. At first she only went into the cave bed... loved it! Then the weather cooled down and she found her way into this one... which I call her "sleeping bag". She goes all the way to the back and it keeps her warm. At night I cover it with an additional blanket - extending the blanket in the front such that it adds a few inches more depth to the overall length. I don't know if she needs it, but it makes me feel more assured that she'll stay warm through the night. Seems she does, because she sleep through the night... that is, she doesn't come looking for me until around 6 am or when she sees my light go on. And did I mention that it stays open! Very well made... I love Armarkat beds!

Just Ok

Unfortunately I had to return this item. The opening was a great size for my 10 lb cat it stayed up by itself and she didn't need help to get in. The bag part itself was too narrow for her to turn around comfortably, I had to hold the bag so she could turn in the bag. The fabric/fur was not as soft as I would have like. Returned

Minimal use after a year

It takes some effort, but the "sock" type cat bed is a unique product that can keep your pets much warmer than any other type I've found, and can be compacted down to a tiny size for storage. It can also be positioned in areas where others would not fit. A lot like a sleeping bag for your pets. (I do *hate it* when Amazon combines several entirely different products into a single listing.) If you need it to stay open, a single spray coating ofScotchgard or other laundry starch does a pretty good job. This makes it fairly stiff and *nearly* solid, with just a small dip in the middle you can manage with proper positioning, but holding it open pretty well. That also happens to make it very water resistant. After that, it's just a matter of teaching/enticing your pet to use this strange new object... My preferred method is to periodically throw a pinch of bacon bits into it. The first few times, my cat picked out the treats and immediately left. But in time that changes, and it becomes a familiar nap spot (the colder the indoor temperature, the better). It certainly stays much warmer than an open top cat bed, or a rigid house. It should be ideal for young kittens that are (even in summer) fighting to keep warm, and always at risk of hypothermia and pneumonia. It's a much better alternative to a pile of rags. I wish it was a bit bigger, making it easier for a large cat to get in and out, and turn all the way around in it, or perhaps making room for two cats. It tends to slowly roll one way or another as your pet climbs in off-center and/or lays against the sides. After having it setup for a year, my cat still prefers to climb on top of it, making it no more useful than an old sweater. Bigger and staying open seems to be a popular cat preference, and the soft pet crate with sheepskin pad (which I purchased as a carrier for vet trips) is actually a much bigger hit as a nap spot than this sock-bed ever was: *Go Pet Club Soft Crate for Pets, 18-Inch, Green

Puuurrrrfect!

She loves to burrow so I knew she'd love this sleeping bag. She's also discovered how to use it like a taco! Great purchase. Very plush, soft, and the color will fit most decors.

My cat loves it

My cat is one of those cats that tends to crawl under blankets to sleep but sometimes gets frustrated if he can't find the blanket edge. Now he has his own cuddly sleeping bag with an edge he can always find! He crawled in and just sat there purring like it's the best thing ever.

Great bed for cats who like to hide

It looks exactly as pictured, so far as colour and material goes. The front and back rims stay up, however the middle part sags, unlike the photo. I had to put treats and catnip inside to teach the cat to go inside. He was not used to this type of bed. Now he really likes it. Unlike some other reviewer's cats, he has never shown any interest in sitting/sleeping on top of it. I haven't washed it yet, so cannot say how it will hold up. The inner faux fur is super soft, the outside material feels very durable. I love the colour (sage).

Perfecta para perros pequeños y gatos

La madriguera tiene espacio como para 3 gatos de tamaño pequeño-mediano o perros chihuahua, es cierto lo que mencionan en un comentario, que tiende a aplastarse del medio y no mantiene del todo la forma como en la foto, solo es cuestión de estirarla un poco con la base inclinada, de cualquier modo tu mascota puede entrar y estando dentro empujar hacia el fondo, esta hecha de un material muy cómodo y caliente para ellos. Si tu mascota tiende a meterse entre cobijas o hacer nido entre cosas, esta perfecta, se puede meter a la lavadora, valió la pena la compra.

Sin soporte en la parte media

No mantiene la forma que presenta. No tiene estructura de soporte en la parte media por lo tanto se colapsa en la parte media, por lo tanto mi gato no la usa. Por otro lado los materiales son suaves y calentitos

Simplemente perfecto.. Sus mascotas pequeñas se lo agradecerán sobre todo en épocas de frío. Muy buena calidad y materiales. Es tan cómodo que dan ganas de tener algo así para ti.
