I’ve been using a plastic mailbox for years. I thought I would try this one since I was upgrading my post. It’s larger than my original one. It’s also made well and has holes for a mounting bracket. I think it was a little pricey but it is a tank. Time will tell how it holds up.

Great mail box - fits Kiwico and Crunch Labs boxes

Looks like a great mailbox, the metal is thick and the paint seems durable. It does fit the Kiwico and Crunch Labs boxes but they need to be angled and only one would fit at a time (the second would stick out the front about 3”). There is also a lip and metal tab (magnet) around the inside at the door. These could get in the way of bigger boxes or envelopes, but these are needed for the front door to keep out the elements. My particular mailbox took a tour of the east coast before being delivered to me. It was definitely an open box item (there were so many layers of tape and three other shipping labels), but the mailbox doesn’t seem to have been installed. Certainly not BNIB though.

It’s a box that gets mail

Mine was a bit different to mount, my pole was made for two boxes and now it just has one. I drilled the angle iron and put two bolts through the bracket I bought separately and attached the box to the metal bracket. I have to take it back off to cut the extra angle iron off then paint the angle iron and pole but it works for now. Box is strong, would be hard to destroy the box, the rivets look a little small on the bottom for the holes stamped in the box, that’s probably how the review where the whole putter skin came off could happen, mine didn’t and is fine. Magnets hold the door shut, no problems there. All is good.
