Awesome little cleaner
I have an 8 gallon acrylic shrimp tank and because of the grow lights, it seems to grow algae faster than my other tanks. This little scrubber is super easy to use and gets into the smaller spaces without moving any plants or decorations around. It also has a curved side, so it fits into the rounded corners. I was very happy to see that, as I hate sticking my hand into the tanks. This little scrubber was worth every penny.

Good product
This effortlessly removes algae from the inside of my glass aquarium. It has two different cleaning surfaces, and the bristly surface cuts through stuck on algae so much better than my traditional tank brush on a stick. The felt surface is not nearly as effective as the bristly surface. I accidentally bought the smaller size and thought I'd regret it, but this is a product that takes hardly any time at all to use and it's very efficient at removing the algae growth, so I have yet to see the need to upgrade to the appropriate size for my tank. Overall, this leaves my glass tank sparkling clean and I'm so appreciative of the time it saves me cleaning the aquarium. There's been no damage incurred from use of this product on my glass tank walls. And, bonus points, it's now a chore that my young children can help out with and they enjoy driving the algae cleaner around the tank cleaning algae from the sides. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the magnets don't line up perfectly when I try to maneuver around corners and if they line up wrong, it can make the two sides repel each other, resulting in me having to fish out the half that goes inside the tank and trying to get it aligned checky again. So I do wish that the magnets were slightly stronger so that it would be easier to go around corners without the halves falling away from each other.

Works great!
I was surprised how quick it removed the Algae. Used on glass with the glass pad. No problems with it falling off. I have a bowed front and just kept the pad facing vertical and there was no issue. Horizontal may work fine but that didn't make sense to me to try it in that orientation. If you run it into the corner I'm sure you could knock it off if your that dumb.

Works well
Not ideal for smaller tanks or if you have stuff it can bump into because it does stick out quite a bit. Also I don't like to use this on corners because the magnetic pull was strong enough to pull up silicone from the corners. Otherwise it's nice to use.

Size small perfect for 10 gallon!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MAGNET SCRUBBER! It makes cleaning up my tank so much more easier. I have a 10 gallon tank and the size small is absolutely perfect! I was thoroughly surprised that it comes with two different cleaning pads! One cleaning pad has a soft surface and other one has a little bit more of a rough surface, which is great depending on which type of tank you have. Overall I really like this product and it just makes my life so much easier.

I am literally disappointed with myself that I didn't think of this first.
All the time I spend with a long-handled brush scaring my fish while I scrubbed away at the walls of the tank...and never once did I think of making something like this. This is incredible! I used to let my tank get a lot dirtier than it should have been because cleaning it was such a messy, time-consuming chore. I saw this while I was looking for a tank to get my daughter a betta fish...and it looked like such a good idea I thought there couldn't be any harm in spending a few bucks to try it out. IT. WORKS. Less than five minutes and I had every surface of the tank (bowed front and flat back) scrubbed clean and I didn't have to get my hands in the tank, didn't have to scrub for half an hour with a sponge on a long handle, didn't spill water all over the counter... The difference in just one pass was like night and day. Now a couple hours later (giving the filter a chance to get rid of the stuff that ended up in the water) and the tank is crystal clear. It's so easy and quick I'll end up cleaning more often and the tank won't end up the way it did before. I tested the weight and it worked. I pulled the outer magnet away and the inner one fell straight to the bottom and I was able to get it back just by putting the other magnet up to the outside of the acrylic. Didn't have to reach in or use a net. Great product. I 100% recommend this. T

Miracle magnet!!!
This accessory has saved me many hours of back breaking grief! It works so well as I have a curved acrylic tank and a glass tank for my bettas. Wish I had invented it! Reasonably priced and really does the job. Just be very careful to not let your finger/thumb get in the mix. You'll only do that one time, because it hurts! I suggest keeping them at a distance while putting in tank. I also give my fish a vacation tank so I can clean without a curious fish getting squished by the very strong magnet. Aquariums are the best therapy and this tool will help you appreciate cleaning your most valued ornament. Keep your swimmers healthy!

Good strong magnet
The media could not be loaded. Bought the medium version which is ideal for 10mm glass. Cleans the glass well and, so far, it hasn't become detached from the outside magnet. It's quite hard work though! The only problem, which is minor, is that the inside magnet tends to vibrate or oscillate as it travels, unless you move extremely slowly. This sets up small pressure waves through the water, enough to make the heater elements wobble when you're in the vicinity, and it freaks the fish out a bit, but only while it's going on. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with it.

Muy buen limpiador
Si tienes plantas, piedras o adornos muy cerca de los cristales te costará limpiar o de plano no podrás sin destruir tu decoración, les doy un tip, pongan una fibra de estas verdes que se usan para lavar los platos por dentro entre el cristal y el imán, esto hace que se mueve más suave y no pegue los "brinquitos", en general bien, lo uso en dos acuarios con cristal de 9mm y todo bien, no flota lo cual es algo que no me gusta pero bueno, lo puedo pasar por el costo.

Doesn’t work
I was so looking forward to this product but I scrub and scrub and the algae does not come off the glass. I thought this would be a great tool to keep glass sparkling clean. The magnet is very strong and easy to manoeuvre. Fish are curious but don’t appear stressed I wish that it worked. I am disappointed.

Pretty useless, unless you manually use it as a hand scrub
The magnetized concept is a nice one, but poorly executed. You have to slowly move the external scrubber up and down your aquarium glass/acrylic. This will scrub the loose algae off, but will not scrub any older ones. Also, when you're using the scrub with the magnet, sometimes, the internal scrub will 'leap' or 'jump', due to the surface resistance of your tank's glass/acrylic. I ended up getting it refunded and oddly, Amazon didn't need me to return it. So I've been using it as a manual scrubber, whenever I drain and clean my tanks. Even then, they don't do the job half the time.

Scratched my tanks! Terrible quality
I cleaned 3 tanks with this and it scratched the tanks. It wasn't noticeable right away until I saw it on an angle then when I sit to view my tanks turns out they were horribly scratched on the insides. Besides the scratches I found it difficult to slide along the glass as well. I wish I could return it after using it only the 3 times but of course it's past the deadline because I didn't use it immediately when I got it. What a waste. I hope this helps you. I think the product would be better if it had a thicker pad. It may have been the holder of the pad that caused the scratches..I just don't know. Before anyone asks...I have no substrate at all. I wish someone would make it right.
