Easy to clean, leaves some garlic behind

This is a great garlic press, much easier to clean than the traditional unit that has the insert that pops out. So easy that you can press some garlic, quickly unfold the handle, slide out the garlic remnants, and press another clove or two. It's also stainless steel so it doesn't rust! Part of what makes this a bullet proof press is the steel gauge (thickness), it's made of thicker material than my older presses. However this does mean there is garlic "stuck" in the grill after you scrape off to use the garlic. And the portion closest to the hinge doesn't press as efficiently. But because it's soooo much easier to clean than the traditional units and made solidly that I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Works Well, but not Perfectly

This works as intended, however when loading additional garlic you have to be careful or the chamber swings unlatched. Need to be dexterous to reload with more garlic, or use two hands.

Excellent garlic press. When using, I recommend not pressing to hard, but just enough to crush the garlic.

Horrible

This is about my 10th Garlic Press which is one of my favorite kitchen hacks. (Granted I am hard on them, I use them for Ginger too, hence the 10th, haha). This one came with a funky hinge that when you press it the 2 metal parts don't even touch to press it. Instead when you press it, all the garlic flies out of the side, rather than through the grate part. Good thing I would use garlic as perfume as I love it so much. I contacted Amazon and Amazon put me directly to Cuisinart and they gave me a phone number to call, but I needed a model number. A garlic press doesn't have a model number, so I gave up and threw it away which kills me as I hate waste. I bought a Zyliss at the same time for a backup and I have had those in the past and they work great, so now I'll stick with them in the future, but I love my Cuisinart food processor, so I thought maybe a Cuisinart garlic press might be super fancy and better? Um, no.

Prensa de ajo de mala calidad

La segunda vez que lo usé el tornillo de giro sujetador volo y se abrió la patita. Ver foto donde ya no tiene el tapón de bloqueo del tornillo. Fue de mala calidad, es una imitación de la marca. Hice el reclamo en Amazon y hay opción de devolver de Panamá a USA pero sale más caro pagar el envio de retorno que perder el dinero de la compra. Es una imitación y estafa deben tener un proceso de devolución que no genere perdida al comprador.

Muito prático e fácil de usar. Espero que tenha uma boa durabilidade. A principio parece um material bem resistente. Super adorei!
