Not very sturdy.

This clothing rack was not sturdy. It bents very easily. It was easy to assemble but can not hold anything over 5 pounds.

wish the screws actually went into the holes ????

not gonna lie i was excited to get this and wanted really wanted it to work seen the reveiws and thought maybe they had defective ones ? well i got mine and put it together the screws would not go in the holes where to small at first to though it was me being weak so my boyfriend threw and put all his force in trying to screw it in ended up cutting his finger with the screw driver . i gave up and put the rest together with the screws barley in the hole the legs don’t even stand up straight i’m disappointed :( (edit). may 20 my friend helped me put it together and now it looks super cute the leg does still look a little weird but it looks nice

Not worth the money.

I got this in hopes of using as an easy way to display clothes for a yard sale. Admittedly I was swayed by the price. Instead I now have yet another thing to sell in the yard sale and nothing to display my clothes. The feet don't sit flush on the ground, the rods are not sturdy and with more than 2-3 pieces of clothing the whole thing falls over. Do not suggest.

Very Satisfied

I have been a dedicated Amazon customer for several years now and I rarely shop anywhere other than this website. I have never written a review (I don't know how people find the time even though I always read the reviews and appreciate them) but I had such a great experience that I made an exception this once. A few weeks ago, I was searching through the garment racks Amazon had to offer and added this product to my shopping cart because I was "thinking" of buying it. I hadn't made up my mind yet. I logged off that day without purchasing anything. A few days later, I hopped back on Amazon to search for other products... a pair of boots, slip, and a Halloween costume. I considered buying the garment rack, but then decided to save it for another day because I wanted to stay in my budget for the time being and the garment rack didn't cut it. I bought the other items. The next week, I came home and found the garment rack waiting at my door... so either I forgot to "save it for later" or I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to get it and then maybe I forgot that I changed my mind? Regardless, I decided to return it because the day before I had made up my mind that I was going to get a more expensive rack with wheels once I had the money to make the purchase. I went on Amazon's site again to go through the returns process and was pleased to learn that not only would my purchase be refunded 100% but Amazon was also allowing me to keep the garment rack. It was a truely wonderful surprise after being a loyal customer for several years and paying the return shipping and handling on items more than a few times. As far as the product itself goes, I would agree with the other customers feedback that the rack is flimsy. However, its simple, saves space, and it gets the job done if you just need it for a couple lightweight items. My boyfriend is using it now for his work shirts and I'm still planning to get a more elaborate clothing rack from Amazon that has shelves attached :-)

Not exactly for practical use.

Yes it is super cute, but it is not going to work for someone who needs extra storage unless its for 15 or less lighter weight items. It was somewhat difficult to get the screws and the hinges to work at the bottom, but with a lot of elbow grease, i was able to get it somewhat put together and tighten later- It would probably go smoother with an elecric screwdriver and a helper! Then the rest is very easy. My rack holds about 11-13 winter clothes items without being too wobbly, and will probably hold up to 20 very lightweight things. So in all, its a good decoration piece, but nothing more. If you want one like the IKEA one, just shell out the money for that if you truly want quality. Good price, but you get what you pay for!

Not my favorite.

Incredibly difficult to put together. The pieces are simple and it shouldn’t have been so hard to put together, but we had issues with the middle screws going in and ended up needing to switch between the screwdriver and a hammer. It’s not durable either; it’s wobbly at the bottom pieces. A shame because we can’t obviously put too many clothes on it, but as a fashion student, I have certain pieces needing to be hung that I can’t due to the lack of strength this rack has. Also have to keep it against the wall to keep it from tipping over. Not bad for light clothing and not too many.

Excellent for price.

Planning ahead to our upcoming yard sale, I found the budget clothing rack. So far I have only purchased 1 of them to make sure it was what I needed before buying more. This will be used in the basement for now, and then outside for the day of the yard sale. It was very simple to put together. Only requiring 6 screws and 2 brackets (comes with). Had to get hubby to tighten them as I wasn't able to get them as tight as I wanted. Took 5-10 minutes to set up. Height is a perfect size for me (5'4"). I put about 30 peices of clothing of varying weights with retail type hangers (not the plastic type from walmart). It held those clothes fine and only swayed a little. I do not think it can hold more than that or it will bend or fall over. These will be used outdoors and I think that as long as they are against the wall they shouldn't fall over (from the wind.) Plan to get 3-5 more for this purpose. They are small and light weight, do not take up much room at all.

So flimsy! I do not recommend!

Bought this to temporarily hang clothes on… as soon as it was halfway full it started bending and tipping completely over. I tried to retighten everything but that didn’t help. Too flimsy to serve any purpose, bad design.

Honestly save your money

These are terrible lol. I really tried to make sense of it but I couldn't justify them. It was hard to assemble only because they came practically bent. It wouldn't stand upright as if the bottom feet were misaligned. One of the holes for the screws wasnt fully drilled so one was useless to me already. Also they are very flimsy. I bought them to display my bridesmaids dresses and it couldn't handle the weight of 4 dresses (super thin and lightweight material) Would only buy if you wanna display less than 3 light items (used it for lingerie for pictures worked well) Cant return them because they are bent beyond fixing. :(

Bad quality - Falls over right away

The media could not be loaded. When I received the package it has clearly a already been opened because wit was all taped up but I didn’t care because i was going to throw it out anyway. However, on top of that, the rack doesn’t stay upright. I need to lean it against a wall so it doesn’t fall over. And i don’t have a lot of clothing on it. (About Half full)

Good basic model

I wanted this for my laundry room to hang up clothes out of the dryer and it's working well. It was easy to assemble. The frame is a little skewed and I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing defect or whether it got banged around in shipment, but it's really just a cosmetic flaw; the frame is still sturdy and doesn't wobble, so I'm not bothered by it. I was worried that hangers would slide off the ends of the hanging bar, over the rounded 'shoulders,' but there are stops welded on each end so this doesn't happen. Can't beat the price.

Cheaply made

The large screws shredded the holes quickly or did not go in the holes all the way, ordered two both were defective, the better one I hung clothes on and it immediately buckled. Waste of money
