Still not up because I have to repair the wall!

So I purchased this same towel rack from another online retailer about 5 or 6 six years ago for the guest bath in my previous home. It came with a template that helped you mark and space holes for the mounting screws. It went right up with no problems whatsoever. There was no template with this one. Quite possibly the design has slightly been changed, as well. The flaw on this new rack is that the flanges that sit flush against the wall are slightly conical in shape and not flat. So, after you assemble the shelf and place it level against the wall to mark where to space the holes you'll drill for installing drywall anchors, you find the marks you made and installed anchors into don't actually align with the screw holes in the flanges! I now must repair my drywall and repaint before I can make another attempt to mount this rack. This means a trip to a hardware store and then a trip to Sherwin-Williams to get the paint color selected by my builder. I will now end up paying at least an amount equivalent to the cost of the rack for paint and materials to make the repair, as well as waste a lot more time trying to install this rack without damaging my walls a second time. Not happy at all!!!!!!!

Looks cheap

Pros: This towel rack has a 4" spacing between the two bottom bars, allowing plenty of space to dry two towels. Cons: This towel rack will make your bathroom look like a cheap motel. There are 20 exposed screw heads. The wall mount is undersized and the screws do not sit flush so the install looks sloppy.

Good shelf NOT rust resistant

We've had this shelf roughly 3 years in our bathroom. It's very sturdy but NOT rust resistant as advertised. Crome finish started bubbling, flaking & rusting about a year & half after installation. The more It's wiped/cleaned, the worse it gets.

easy to install and very elegant!

I recently moved into a rental home, specifically a module home. all the walls were very dark and depressing, and the fixtures were either non existent our outdated, so I bought this shelf. after painting the bathroom a light beige and installing this shelf, the bath looks like a hotel bathroom! with using a level and marking the holes to drill first, it was quite easy to install and holds 4 rolled towels on the shelf and 12 folded wash clothes. you wont be sorry buying this!

Hotel style towel rack

these are very reasonably priced shelf/ towel rack combo. Nice chrome finish, easy to assemble and install. Might be considered a little light weight but keep in mind this is a towel rack not a chin-up bar. Serves its purpose very nicely.

Great rack but drywall plugs are not really the correct size. Can be seen sticking out in plain view beyond rack feet.

Its in expensive..

Ok unit but metal is very very thin,chrome seems ok but do not put anything heavy on this shelf ..if your looking for a higher quality shelf you must pay more but this is good for those who need one for a few years.
