MY second system. Have one at home for drinking water for last 10 years. Recently added this to farm for ice maker. Well made product and easy to install. Only gripe was this did not come with a Tee to add the dispenser but a trip to Lowe's and $3.28 later, tee obtained and lines hooked up. Great product!

I recently purchased this APEC soda maker and am thoroughly impressed with it! The machine is easy to use and produces excellent quality soda every time. The setup process was a breeze, and the instructions were clear and concise. What I love most about this soda maker is that it allows me to control the bubble of my soda. I can make it as fizzy or flat as I want and choose from a wide range of flavors to create my perfect drink. The machine is sleek and modern and looks great on my kitchen counter. It's also easy to clean, which is always a plus in my book. Overall, I recommend this home soda maker to anyone looking for a fun and easy way to make my own soda at home. It's definitely worth the investment. 5 stars!

Affordable and durable. No complaints
I’ve been an APEC customer for years. Their water filter systems are next to none, made in USA ????????, and always high quality. While my RO system is made in USA, it doesn’t look like this product is. But as a business owner, I get it, not everything can be. This is your standard soda machine, it does the job. I like that the bottle is bigger than your average. Compared to Soda Stream floor models, this seems better. It’s not made of thin plastic, it’s much more solid than that. Packaging does not mention what CO2 canisters are compatible, but a double take on Amazon says Soda Stream and Soda Sense CO2 canisters work. If you want a good product from a reputable company, this is it.

Not the best & not the worst
It doesn’t leak so it has that going for it. I was having high TDS readings when we first set it up & the water was cloudy looking from all the bubbles in the system & it was leaving a foamy crud on the surface of the water. So I purged it for a few extra minutes a second time & that cleared it all up. Our water quality isn’t horrible w/o a filter it’s just full of chlorine & it smells of that & I am sensitive to it so it gives me a sore throat if I drink from the tap. It removed the chlorine taste & smell & no sore throat so that’s another win. It isn’t the best tasting water I’ve ever had but it’s sufficient. This is our second APEC water filter purchase & we specifically looked for this brand to purchase again. It should last for several years with minor maintenance. So if this is your price range I would recommend it.

Works great. No specifics on what is filtered.
So far, we are pleased with the APEC WFS-1000. The installation was straightforward, the faucet nice, and the flow impressive. My only complaint is the lack of transparency concerning WHAT exactly is filtered. This is the third system we have had. The other two both included with the system and in every replacement filter box a highly detailed, extensive listing of what contaminants are reduced or eliminated. They had outside testing companies that test the filters and report results, then the manufacturer shares with the consumer on a piece of paper in every box. With APEC, so far all I've heard is sediment, chlorine, VOC's, and "other chemicals". That is highly unclear. This leads me to wonder if the lack of testing, or at least to the extent of where it is shared with the consumer has something to do with the comparatively low cost of this system, even more so the replacement filters. Their 3-filter replacement set is half the cost of the last similar systm we had. Also, lead removal or reduction is not a feature of their standard filters. They do have available a separate filter that can be purchased if lead is a concern. I also found this to be strange, as lead and chlorine are usually the main targets of drinking water filtration. Other than these details, the system seems very sturdy, and with new filters, the flow is great-comparable to a regular faucet. I would feel better knowing the details as to what is being filtered out.

Great Filter, but NOT Certified
This is a great filter system, but neither the entire unit, nor its individual filters, are certified whatsoever by any certifying body, such as NSF or WQA. We have only the manufacturer to trust that its claims for chemical, taste, and odor reduction are accurate. Would love to see that the entire system, plus its replacement filters, gets certified like its more expensive RO counterparts.

Product itself is good so far
My husband installed it, and so far there are no leaks. Water is still milky but tastes fine. I just wish Amazon would’ve price matched itself basically since it’s the same product I purchased 5 days ago and it’s now magically $22 less. I asked it Amazon would do a price adjustment, and they refused. Also, when I tried to purchase this item before, I had a choice of brushed nickel or chrome faucet. I wanted brushed nickel but got chrome and wasn’t given a choice this time????????

Great in-line water purifier system for the $
Install is not very difficult. The reason I gave this four stars is I did not like the "versatile feed water adapter" that comes with this. It's all in pieces that you have to screw together that allows 5 different connections where water could leak. I had a slow leak after install and could not find where it was coming from. Went to Home Depot and got a 3/8" X 3/8" compression valve that had a built in shut off valve with a 1/4' push to connect for the hose. Works great now.

Great water pressure
This system was easy to install and we love the difference we see from our previous filter unit. Larger, but we had the space and love the water pressure so far. We fill nice clean water with no metal taste in nooo time. Looking forward to not having to change the filters as often as before.

Works, tastes great!
Works as advertised, easy installation, no leaks. Bought this because I’m sick of handling 5 gallon jugs for the water cooler. Water tastes great. Some other reviews mentioned leaks so I put a tray with a water detector/alam directly under the unit. So far, not a drop. Also, much better flow rate than I had expected.

Great water pressure
This product is great. Very happy I decided on this particular one. It fits great under the sink. It came with everything we needed to install. The pressure is excellent compared to an another brand I've seen. It tastes great. I'm completely satisfied and would recommend.
