It's true, this RO is for agriculture, or "weed". But bravo to Hydro-Logic!
Just a perfect solution for my water issue. After dealing with 4-5 RO dealers and getting estimates from 8-20 grand, this and AO Smith's AO-WH-DSCLR descaler have given me a perfect solution. My well water is 1920 PPM (!), mostly sodium and nitrates. That water was killing all my plants and bushes, and leaving me with very, very hard water in my home, so I needed a solution. After investing weeks talking to those dealers and getting their negative takes, I at least figured out what I needed: A descaler to keep RO membranes from clogging, and a high-flow RO. Found both here on Amazon, and I set about installing and running my nasty water through both for 6 weeks, non-stop. Non-stop. Well, this system's flow of ~600 GPD and ~250 PPM has lasted that long without degradation. But to many, that 250 PPM is not exactly "pure" water. It's fine for plants and not unhealthy for people, but most people expect better than that from RO. if that's the case you should buy an under-sink RO system and save $500. it'll work better for you. But if your situation is similar to mine, I can't emphasize enough how fantastic this is performing for me. Note: Both water tests were done professionally. My setup: 1920 PPM from well gets pumped to 2500 gallon water tank Which gets pumped to pressure tank, which I increased PSI to 75/55 for increased RO flow. Which gets sent to AO Smith descaler and this RO To 2nd 600 gallon water tank which distributes clean water to home and particular agriculture (like garden, bushes) Issues with system: 1) To get that 600 GPD I had to increase PSI from primary pressure tank to 75/55 (not a big deal) 2) Wastewater to clean water is a lot higher than 2/1 in my case (with nasty input water). More like 4/1. I have a well so I don't care. 3) Not sure how long filters will last, but with 1920 PPM input I assume 1 season. Hydro-Logic needs to lower price of its filters before a competitor does because $500/yr for three new filters is not ok. Not when three other 20" filters are available for half that. Thanks, Hydro-Logic, and if you see this review please consider a 3 filter bundle pack at a reduced cost, and let us know when it'll be available.

Working well so far. This unit is a good replacement for the GE Merlin as it uses the same type filters and the same hose fittings which basically make it plug and play using your old Merlin hoses. I left in the post filter from my Merlin set up to provide some extra filtering.

Awesome RO system
My well water is hard at 950 or so ppm and after going thru 9 other filters it's comes to my storage tank at 420 ppm the family only used it to shower and wash dishes flush the toilets. There was stains in the toilets and my wife complained that her hair was falling out in globs, so I had to spend the money. after adding the evolution 1000 upgraded to (1200 GPD now) it's down to 28 ppm. Awesome! I can finally drink it if I want.

Excellent. Water dropped to 2 ppm TDS form 168 ppm inlet. Now includes garden spigot adapter.
.Easy to set up. Now includes adapter for your outdoor spigot. Reduced my TDS from 168 ppm to 2 ppm at 35 psi on the gauge. Flow is very good (although I am not hitting the 100 gpd due to my lower pressure). This unit weight about 15 pounds and is very robust. Works very well with excellent results. Worth the extra money.

Never did even 100 gallons in 24 hours
Purchased this unit in 2018. I kept it in storage until recently. After having 2 other systems from Hydrologic, I assumed the RO1000 would do 10x what the RO 100 does. You know... math. Unfortunately it has never even produced as much as my RO 100. And the regulator is broken. The black line spews water and the blue line drips. I did not put this unit together backwards. I checked, rechecked, and watched videos. This RO 1000 is a faulty product. Shame that I waited over 3 years to use it and it plain and simple is under par

I plumbed this system into an RV Motorcoach. Works great! The water pressure is a little low in some RV parks but I can still use it direct flow even with low pressure, or I can add more water pressure using my RV holding tank and water pump system. I even added the pre-filter unit to help with the ammonia in the drinking water in California, Florida and other places. I don't worry about the different locations with varying water quality anymore. Great product!

Hydrologic is the best.
Jimmy went above and beyond to fix the plastic piece that gave out. Quickly and efficiently. Thanks

Hook up was very easy, it came with everything needed for a quick hookup. It took me about half an hour to get it ready for use. I have the produced water going into a 30 gall pressure tank and it fills in less than an hour with 45psi town water. Makes way more clean water than I could ever use even with my commercial ice machine.

More like 250, which is still fairly decent
Okay unit. On a well with a 30/50 pressure switch without the added pressure pump, you will not get 1000G per day. More like 250, which is still fairly decent. Also the waste output is more like 2.5:1 rather than 2:1. Also - the unit would be far better if some sort of rig was put in place to hold the lines as they come out of the elbows. I used duct tape to secure the three lines and elbows to the unit so they would be straight. Otherwise it leaked everywhere. A design flaw for sure that could be fixed with a 2$ piece of plastic.
