Good performance!

Bought this cable to replace a previous cable that started having issues. This Amazon Basics one seems to be pretty durable and gets me the full speeds my ISP plan provides. Hopefully, it lasts for a long time.

It's a great product! It's 100', so very long lol. And it's fast! And it's cat 6, so it's fast lol. Unfortunately I was going to use it for connecting my wife's work computer from the router in my gaming room, however we upgraded to eero mesh, annnnd didn't need to do that anymore lol. So I gave it to a friend. I did use it for a bit while it was connecting the computer, it was on the floor and I was going to feed it through the wall but then that's when I got the mesh wifi which let's me "directly" connect without sacrificing any wifi bandwidth because of magic i guess. Good cord. Thankfully it was cheap, which is also a pro! I DID buy the 5' pack of this brand recently since I love how flat it is, I can "hide it" against the wall and baseboard, makes everything look much cleaner. Good stuff ????????

Negotiates fine up to 2.5 gbps from switch to switch. Note - if you are using 10G-SFP-T (RJ45) transceivers, they have a limited range (typically 30m) and the cable might not be able to do 10 gbps over that (not the fault of the cable).

Magnificent Cable

It is astounding how much of the internet can be beamed through this fine cable, with speeds that can only be rivalled by a lightning bolt from almighty Zeus himself. It is a fine addition to my gaming setup. The length is also unparalleled! I've not yet managed to fully unravel this boundless coil, for it would take too long. Maybe several lifetimes, who knows? Alas, my time on this here Earth would be better served using this fine cable for its intended use - to channel the ether from thy router to thy gaming PC.

Not enough clips

I have ony just installed the cable, and it seems to be working as stated. The flat cross-section was much easier to pull through than the round CAT5 cable it replaced. The package included 25 useful flat cable clips that fit and support the cable well. But, The recommended spacing for clipping flexible cable on a vertical surface is ca 4-5 per metre. So for a 30 m length one needs at least 30x4 = 120 clips. The length of wall I was clipping to is 20 m, so I needed 80 clips. It was a shame that I had to resort to some inappropriate round clips to get the job done.

does the job nicely

what can i say, 30m of cat7 ethernet cable for a tenner is a great deal in itself, after using wifi for 2 years on my gaming pc it makes a huge difference to have a constantly stable connection and boosts my speeds by about 20mb/s compared to my sky wifi mesh system. the cable being flat allows me to easily hide it around the skirting board to the router downstairs with ease and is a welcome change to my setup. 5/5 also do not be put off by the amazon basics branding, the quality of their products is so worth the money!

Very good quality cable

This cable is really good, I’ve hidden mine under the carpet and also because it’s flat you can run it under the door and not worry about it, I’m using it with a POE switch and also a wall mounted access point and it has all been working really well, speed is also really good

Nice and flat which was perfect for my adhesive cable clips. Full speed connecting directly to my router downstairs. I found WiFi gave me a fraction of what I could have. This meant I could get the best performance. Definitely needed that 30m cable when tacking around the house. Amazon quality, very good value, good performance. Needed for my new City Fiber connection.
