Range Bag
Is the second set of headphones that I purchased. I purposely selected these. On account of how thin they are. They are light and easy to carry on the outside of my range bag. I also purchased a headset cover. The headset cover provides the additional padding. As well as a D ring. For easy attachment to my bag.

Nice set if they hold up.
These are a little snug on my big head, but not really uncomfortable. My wife and kids like the fit. It's a bit of a stretch in the product description to say you can hear "normally" while you're wearing these, but you CAN still carry on a conversation. For example, in a highly scientific test conducted in my den, for me to hear an annoying commercial at about the same level as my TV sounded at volume level 13, I had to put it on 20 or so when wearing the earmuffs. Still, they let me come home from the shooting range with my hearing intact, so that's what counts, I suppose. I usually like the kind of earmuffs that have two heavy, padded wires running over my head for support and this one has a one-piece plastic support. I feel like I need to be more careful with these, but if the plastic doesn't break, they'll be a pretty good set. They fold up small and they don't look as goofy as some.

Just as billed
Read all reviews around. It cancel noise to the level described. It is a little better than the $2 pair at Harbor Freight but I knew that and the main reason I bought these was they were Allen Company and they folded. They fold more compact than any pair I saw at sport stores (name any), meijer, walmart, Harbor Freight, and so on. This was the main reason I bought them was the compact nature. Price was decent. I noticed a lot of the same product Harbor Freight carries and also sporting stores sell are just branded differently. This pair is its own brand and quality. Glasses, other muffs, and many Allen/Field&Stream and branded products a like can be found at many stores. This pair I never found anywhere else. If you want deafening sound quality check out the Camo pair at Harbor Freight for $10.

works well
I have used these muffs for a weekend pistol training and wore them for hours at a time. They seem to feel a little tight but a cushioned well and never got uncomfortable even after a few hours of wear. I also have glasses and this was not a problem. The level of hearing protection is great. Great price and they do what they are supposed to do. I will be ordering a couple more of these. I gave it 4 and not 5 stars ONLY because it seems to be a thin hard plastic and I can't imagine they will last for years without breaking, but at this price I'll order a few and rotate them.

Excellent Product
At the time, I didn't have the money for expensive electronic muffs, so I did some research and found these. The package labels them as muffs for shooting, but points out other uses such as power tools, machinery, or motor sports. I prefer muffs over ear plugs because they don't hurt your ears or fall out ever-so-slightly, loosing effectiveness. I find them excellent for muffling gun shots, and I would assume other circumstances although I have not tried myself. Pros: + Comfortable + Excellent noise reduction for the price + Normal speech is still audible Cons: None so far (I've been using these for a couple months) I recommend these if you're short on cash and need some decent muffs. Overall an excellent product for the price.

I like them. This is the second pair of ear muffs I've owned. The originals, a different manufacture, succumbed to old age. I paid a lot more for the original set and even when they were new didn't perform as well as these. Don't let my enthusiasm miss lead you. You will be buying a minimal cost pair of ear muffs and one cannot expect them to compete with the premium units that cost real money.

Worked as advertised
I purchased this for Emerald City Comic Con 2013 where I went as Ghost and this worked perfectly. I was using this as a headset mock up for my outfit and it worked perfectly. It probably works too well as it was sometimes hard for me to hear. This just means that once I use them for shooting that they will actually work to block out sound so I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a set of hearing protection.

These ear muffs are awesome, I used them to ignore my wife since day 1.. she does not like that. I took them out to an indoor range for a concealed weapons class and we shot for 1 hour, I was able to hear the instructor clearly, but it protected my ears and was very comfortable. I had no issue with them being uncomfortable, I just stretched out the plastic band on top a few times to break them in and was content with the fit. Wearing safety glasses did not break the seal, so even with them on they were comfy and protective.

They loved it
I started wearing these at work for it's protection while maintaining the slim profile and light weight. One by one, my co-workers asked me to order these. So far I've already ordered 5 pairs. They seem to love the design. It's the well designed because it provides little trade off for protection (fairly close to 30 NRR) yet isn't too bulky and heavy on the head. The only reason you may want a 30 NRR instead of this is because you work in the construction industry where heavy drills are used. Though it does reduce the ability to hear someone talk from afar, in close range, there are no issues. I would recommend this ear muff for shooters as well as people who need decent sound protection.

They muffled the sound!!
Purchased these ear muffs for my 3 children, to wear when we attended a monster truck show. They helped muffle the sound for my children's ears. The only drawback was that they were very snug-which I understand that they need to be, to create a seal around the ear-my 5 year old complained about them hurting, and ended up with a little mark from them. Even though they were a little hard to maneuver, I think they lived up to their claim, and suited our needs. I would recommend these, and would purchase again.

Cheap and works but squeezes my head like a vise
They were price right & blocked out most sounds...but I cannot see myself wearing them for more than an hour at a time. I don't think I have a big head so I think these are for kids or small headed people. The materials do make me think it will eventually snap in half (the plastic head band). This item is fairly lightweight...too bad it is fairly tight fitting
