Excellent value and quality for an eco wipe, no rash/irritation problems

My son is highly reactive to almost all commercial wipes that have actual cleansers in them. I made my own wipes solution for a long time while we were cloth diapering, but we had to make the switch to disposables around one year and we found these after trying a couple other eco brands. We have been using them for almost a year now, and these are by far the best! No rashes or irritations what-so-ever, and we really like the idea that they are compostable if one chooses to do so. We do not actually compost them, but like the option because it would at least lead us to believe that the body of the wipes are made of less toxic materials than other non-compostable wipes. We have these on our bi-monthly subscribe and save and will continue to do so until we are no longer in need of disposable wipes. My only complaint about them is that I wish that they did not come in a large box of small count, individually wrapped packages of 72 wipes. It makes for a lot of plastic trash going into the landfill, which I imagine that a large number of customers of this brand are trying to avoid in the first place. However, I still gave a 5-star rating based on the quality of the wipes themselves.

High quality, low utility

The quality of these wipes is fantastic, they are thin yet very durable. I've used the regular Aleva Naturals wipes and the scent is great, I only really bought the sensitive brand because it was substantially cheaper that month. BUT... the price is just too high. The Huggies sensitive brand is literally less than 1/10th the price, and works just as well if not better in some ways. BUT my daughter has never had a diaper rash, so maybe there would be a difference there that would definitely warrant paying more. Sorry I can't speak to that. There is also the very annoying fact that these wipes like to stick together so you get 3 when you only want one (both out of the pack and out of a warmer we've had this issue) and then the next wipe does not come out, ready to be pulled, so you have to dig your fingers into the pack again and again to get the wipes out. It gets old fast. So ultimately, I'd give it 5 stars for quality, and 1 star for utility, so I split the difference and gave 3 stars.

Great for sensitive skin

I don’t usually write reviews but I am in love with these wipes. My 7 month old has had diaper rash non stop until I finally switched to these wipes from pampers. Since switching she hasn’t had any diaper rash.

Im not sure why the reviews on these are mixed. These are not like conventional wipes from Huggies or some other brand that are almost cloth like and will never decompose. These are meant to biodegrade in 21 days, therefore they are thin. But they do the job. I hate how much waste is associated with diapering and while I usually use cloth wipes sometimes I need disposable ones. These are the most eco friendly ones I can find. Unlike Honest and 7th Gen brands they don't have a weird smell. I am VERY sensitive to smells and these are ok.

Excellent compostable wipe but NOT unscented

This is the best wipe ... It's thick, soft and it's compostable... However, it's NOT unscented / NOT fragrance free

non irritating

I use these for adult feminine wipes. I have tried many other popular brands but they are all very irritating. I can tolerate these wipes therefore I would recommend using on babies. The only dislike is that I can't seem to get them out of the package one at a time. They always come out in twos but I will still purchase them.

Would possibly buy again

soft and nice, no yucky fragrance or sticky residue left on baby! I do regret that they are not made in the USA. I will look for something similar not made in china for my next purchase.

I love these! So soft and gentle but gets the job done well. I had a pack of Huggies and I just tried and in comparison Huggies was like cardboard. I'll continue to buy these as needed as they are everything I would want.

Great Sensitive Wipe with Pleasant Smell!

Great wipe! Rates 2 on EWG's consumer guide for personal care products, not bad. I like that it's organic with more natural ingredients. Perfect amount of wetness. Smell is pleasant. Perfect size and thickness. No rashes. Pulls out opackage in clumps (I've gotten used to this with natural wipes unfortunately!) Compared to other senstive wipes, Water wipes are more wet (made my baby's skin peel), Pampers sensitive are slightly dryer but come out of container one at a time. Naty works well but stinks. Attitude are too thin. Aleva is the best sensitive wipe I've tried so far. I'd like to try their diapers next.

Good for sensitive skin

My baby is very sensitive to diaper rash. I usually rinse him under the sink with water and soap when I change the diaper but for just urine I've been using these and he hasn't gotten a rash. With other types of wipes even if I use a wipe only once or twice a day he develops a rash. I haven't used these for every single diaper change but for the few times in the day that I use them they are working great. Only complaint is that it's difficult to take only one out with one hand. More than one wipe comes out at a time. So what I do when im about to use these is take one out first with both hands and then go ahead and begin the changing process afterwards. I gave 4 stars because they are very expensive for baby wipes. Would be better if they were slightly better priced.

What is with the new packaging?

I have been using this brand for nearly 10 years. I have bought 120 packs of wipes on Amazon alone. I'm loyal. Which I bring up to say the new package design IS TRASH. The removal of the lid to place a simple, sticker only, closure is so user unfriendly. Plus, it ruins the rest of the wipes! Not only do they never seal as well but several of them have ripped the entire packet when opening. Brand new wipes ruined; awful and dry. Yeah, the product is meant to be thrown away but I shouldn't feel like I am actually throwing my money away. Please fix this.

very ordinary, difficult to pull out

I got these based on my friend's recommendation. However, I am not quite satisfied. Here are the reasons: - it is almost impossible to pull out one single wipe, they just come out in bunch! - I personally did not notice any significant difference between the quality and softness of these wipes and the other brands at much cheaper price. So overall, it does not worth the price.

Won’t use any other kind of wipe

I’ve tried most kinds of fragrance free wipes-including the much cheaper Huggies fragrance free ones(smaller, rips very easily, drying) and these Aleva ones are my favourite. They are larger, thicker, more moisturizing and stronger than the others. Most others literally chap my butt. Lol. Not Aleva- I won’t use any other kind now. Terrific value for money.
