Great support, needed some padding
This brace provides excellent support for my ankle. The stitching on the top is very hard and double-stitched so it rubs on the top of my foot. I trimmed the top of the fabric to remove that hard stitching and added some foam tape to add some cushion. Overall a great product.

Works pretty good.
I like that it works better all of the 5 that I have bought. I don’t like that it is uncomfortable to wear. It even cuts my tibia so I have to use extra padding and large band aids yo avoid large cuts. It doesn’t stretch much. They need to rethink the placement of the “buckle”. The “stays” are way too long on both sides. They go UNDER both archs. WAY TOO LONG AND UNCOMFORTABLE. But this is the only pull on brace with stays and at least a partial figure 8.

Unfortunately this model bothers hardware on left side of my ankle. I just tried it on one time. NO RETURN! Surprise! Looking at it i think its bent on one side. Calling Amazon. But read return poicy.

Not true to size
Order the med. based on the info give that it would fit W 9-13 shoe size. It is too small. The straps do not reach. Go one size up

It is not an "air cast"
It’s NOT an air cast. Just compression material with flat metal on either side, one wrap around not even two for extra stability. YOU CANNOT RETURN IT. SO….Disappointing. If it was actually air it would have provided very overall support. So this is likE THE OTHER TWO I PURCHASED AND THREW AWAY, EXCEPT THE. METAL PLATES ARE THINNER AND I CAN GET THEM INTO A DECK SHOE. It’s ok but not what I thought I ordered. And….NO RETURNS. I have a class 3 sprain and after three. In this still have pain. This is a little help but not enough. ADDENDUM. I WORE IT ALL DAY YESTERDAY AND IT WAS COMFORTABLE. NOT PERFECT, BUT PRETTY GOOD.

Useful advice on how to remove the brace
First of all, this brace met or exceeded my expectations. It is extremely comfortable and supportive, and it fits inside my athletic shoe without any issue. The reason for this review is that I agree with another reviewer that it is devilishly difficult to remove before you learn the trick to the removal. It is difficult because the Velcro is very strong, and it extends to the very end of the strap. Making it even more difficult is the fact that the strap ends on the back side of my ankle, where I cannot see it. I am a strong guy, but the tips of my fingers struggled to find it and then to get it off the first time. After that, I remembered that there was a miscellaneous unmarked piece of black material in the box, perhaps 1.5" x 1.5". AHA! I attached that to the last 1/2" of the Velcro strap, making a sort of pull tab. It works, and it has continued to work day after day. The instructions are in 20 languages but make no mention of this. I hope that this helps.

Great to wear during sport
I got this after i rolled my ankle and ended up with a nasty sprain. It is not as supportive as the lace up brace i got at the ortho, and i didnt wear it fo the first couple weeks because i needed firmer stability. A month after the sprain, when I could play tennis again, I wore this to play and have continued to wear it while playing since. I thought it would be too weird to wear while playing but it fits in my shoe fine and provides just enough extra stability that I dont have fear of re-injury in the back of my mind. It's pretty breathable and flexes just enough with your movement. Glad I got it.

Stability and quality
Cost a little more than I had originally wanted to spend but I must admit the extra money spent was well worth it. Very comfortable on and doesn't feel bulky inside the shoe. Gives great support and extra stability I could not recommend this ankle brace highly enough. I've weak ankles so would be very prone to falling but I can honestly say I have been using this for quite a while now and haven't fallen once.

Everything great except fin build quality
A really well designed bit of kit that does its job better than others I’ve tried and is surprisingly comfortable. But it is at the top end of the price range so I’d expect better build quality. The under strap Velcro doesn’t work and looks badly attached. I’ve owned it a week but I feel it won’t last a long time but, given that it supports so well, I will have to buy another.

The Aircast A60 - ideal for runners recovering from ankle sprains.
I suffered an ankle sprain while out running. I stood on an uneven rock that caused a forceful roll inwards, damaging my outer ankle ligaments. I had extensive swelling and later on bruising. To protect the ankle and prevent any further injury, I needed an ankle support/brace that was going to offer a lot of strength and support. The A60 is one of the more expensive on the market - but it is worth every penny. At first the A60 feels fairly chunky on the foot, as the plastic supports are not moulded to the foot yet. However after a couple of days wearing it, I got used to it and barely noticed it was on. The big question mark was how it would feel when running. Runs over short distances (5-10km) proved no trouble. If I stepped on any uneven surfaces, I could feel the support help keep my ankle secure. Prior to the injury I had been building up to the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London. The injury curtailed my long distance training, but the shorter runs gave me confidence I could run in it. I'm pleased to say I ran the half marathon wearing it and it kept my ankle safe. There was no discomfort or rubbing either. I managed to set my personal best time for a half marathon too! Without the A60, there is no way I would have been able to run the Royal Parks. This is a fantastic product, it is no wonder Andy Murray has relied on it with his ankle problems over the years. The product officially does not support use in water. However I used it for swimming at Center Parcs and it functioned without any problems and didn't lose its shape when it dried out. I highly recommend the A60 support for anyone dealing with the misfortune of an ankle sprain injury.

Need a new one already!!!
Excellent product and has served me well since I bought it. However for quite an expensive product I expected it to last slightly longer than it did. I am disappointed to say I can no longer wear it as it rubs the side of my food and has caused me 2 very deep and painful blisters the last 2 occasions I have worn it. Unfortunately as it has provided me with a great deal of support and confidence in my sport previously.
