Super easy install
Installation is super easy. Works great to level my truck back out after hooking to my fifth wheel.

Nice but not perfect
This is the stainless version and while the plates and lines are stainless the rest of the hardware is not. Its a bummer - i wanted the stainless because i live in in the rust belt. The instructions list several places you can mount the air inlets but the braided lines are only long enough to reach the bumper area - it would have been nice to have them in the gas tank door but the passenger side would never reach that far - despite the instructions indication that installing at that location was an option. These have JIC ends on the stainless lines however they are made very poorly and all leaked when tightened snug,. I had to remove them and reinstall with thread sealant If they are going to use crappy ends the least they could do is provide some teflon or pipe dope to seal them with,. JICs are not supposed to need anything to seal jus 1/6 turn past finger tight but these are craptastic. They do not tell you to do this but I inflated the bags and sprayed all the connections with soapy water to ensure they were not leaking. If I had not done this I would have had trouble. After everything that they are nice bags. I put them on my GMC 2500 and it nicely leveled it with the truck camper on. It takes some effort to get the pressure right. They don't really give instructions on how to set them and they really should. If you put just enough pressure in them to separate the overload spring from the main pack you get a good ride with level headlights. They do not take much air at all, inflating from shop pressure takes some effort to get right, they inflate very fast and if your trying to get to say 20 PSI on both its tough. Understand that you need to set the pressure with the load on the truck because 5psi with the truck empty could be 15-25 with it loaded. It makes sense, PV=NRT from physics and all but again its not explained in the manual. when i set them at 5psi and then put the camper on they were at 18. If you had them to high with the truck empty you could be over the PSI limit on the bags with the truck loaded. Overall, the install was easy and not at all time consuming, just frustrating because of the leaks. There is on the gas tank side a bastard bolt that you cannot get to with a torque wrench and have to just snug up by feel because the gas tank skid is in the way. I just used this for a 1200 mile trip with the truck camper right after installing them and highly recommend them for improved ride quality and keeping your head lights level .

Towing/hauling
If you tow or haul anything heavy, even occasionally, they are worth it. The increase in capacity when aired up and better ride aired down are well worth the price over constant capacity. Instructions were decent, and put the fill up by my plate.

Saggy rear, need a lift?
I purchased this Airlift system to help with trailering dump trailers. I run several trailers with 10-14k gvwr. Contractors do not always load evenly! Pulling front heavy trailers can make you sea sick on bad roads, not to mention loss of steering stability. I purchased with the 72000 wireless system. I already have enough valve stems to check each trip.(4 on truck, 4 on trailer) So this set up seemed a better choice for my needs. After playing with the system, up and down once installed I decided to read the directions on how to use. Installation of the 88338 was as advertised. The one thing that puzzled me was the width of the u-bolts and top brackets. They were about an inch wider than my frame (2015 silverado 2500HD) So I messed with them until I looked at pics in guide and saw theirs tight to the frame on the inside, so I decided good enough for them, good for me. Easy installation with hand tools, tube cutter a must have. Lisle makes a good one, available most Auto stores. Get yourselves a pack of longer zip ties, 18" if you want to go around frame, supplied ones too short. Go on YouTube and watch several videos prior to installation, they will help greatly. Manual inflation valves were mounted under spare tire key door. No metal to drill through. There is actually a little square opening on the back side of bumper mounting structure just perfect for this rear mounting next to license plate. Only trouble I had was passenger side where the two brackets for brake lines. One is hydraulic service brakes , no issues, the other is the e- brake. The e-brake bracket had to be twisted a little to lay flat on the Airlift bottom bracket. Installed on Friday and used the following day. Wow what a difference in towing! Had I known how much an improvement this system would make when towing a trailer, I would have installed the second day after buying the truck. Just make sure you dont install valve stems to close together, allow for rubber and metal washers. Forget the metal helper Springs, go with the Air Lift system you won't be disappointed.

Required modification
I have been very well pleased with previous sets of AirLift bags I've installed, and these are the 4th pair of AirLift airbags I've installed on my trucks, so I am familiar with the process and how it should work and how they should fit. The top bracket on these does not leave enough room for the metal bumper base to sit without hitting the air inlet swivel piece. I had to remove the passenger side one and grind down the inside edge on the bumper base in order to make more room for the air inlet swivel piece. Additionally, I have a B&W 5th wheel hitch, so installation requires drilling a hole in the frame in order to secure the front of the top bracket on each side. Last time I tried that, I went through two titanium bits with my Dewalt Hammer Drill, and the provided bolt snapped. AirLift REALLY needs to provide specialized bolts, like Firestone does, for use on these without having to drill. Reaching into the driver side is nearly impossible and directly next to the fuel tank. My drill about burned up until i finally gave up. If Airlift can't provide a simple L-shaped eye-bolt setup, I will simply go another direction in the future on a truck with a 5th wheel hitch.

Excellent product and installation instructions
Excellent installation instructions and product works as advertised. Installed on a 2016 Silverado and has made towing a heavy trailer much more enjoyable.

Disappointed
Good product so far. Works great for hauling a trailer. The bad thing is that I have only had the air bags for a week and both are leaking from the AN 90 fitting, not from the threads but from the swivel part. Kinda disappointed with that as now I have to track down parts and have it fixed.
