It replaces 16 year old air bags

I replaced 16 year old air lift air bags that became dry rotted. They certainly improve the ride. I highly recommend them especially on a truck pulling a 5th wheel trailer.

Ride/Kidney savers when towing heavy!

only got to use these for a couple of months as we traded our 3/4 ton F250 in for a 1 ton dually RAM. but in that time I can say without a doubt these were the single best towing modification to any truck I have ever owned! we were towing pretty much right at the limit in our F250 (over 15k lb fifth wheel) and without these the ride was harsh, and very unforgiving to not just us as passengers, but also to the contnets of the front of our rig. We had driven this truck only a few times before we realized we HAD to add these. After adding these, and adding only enough air to level the ride we found that the truck was soo much smoother, and more forgiving, things in the trailer stopped falling down, and our kidneys really appreciated the relief they saw from adding these! We did a test after getting these installed going down interstate 15 in California from riverside/corona to Temecula.... first ride was PAINFUL (with bags deflated), our second trip, was remarkably better... Would HIGHLY reccomend these to anyone towing heavy in their 3/4 ton truck.

Requires an amout of mechanical aptitude but not overly difficult.

Almost straightforward install on my F250 with a B&W flip-over hitch. My kit was missing 2 of 4 angle brackets. Had to deviate from instructions. Had unbolt shocks for clearance to install airbag and massage one of the shock brackets to align airbag properly, passenger side. Added some time. Was able to install without removing wheels. A 9/16 gearwench ratcheting combination wrench helps with long bolts. Powercoating flaked off top bracket in a couple spots, could have been prepped a little better to help with adhesion.

07 f250

On 07 F250 2wd easy to install but adds about 20% more stiffness due to always sitting on the bag. But they work like a dream. I added a autozone compressor inside.
