Longer than picture looks

I've been struggling with my XP4400EH, could NOT get any power over 120v alone, could only use 120/240. I contacted customer support, they recommended I try this adapter, and what do you know. I finally can run my microwave while dry camping! This adapter works great, and is actually closer to a foot long, the picture makes it look like 6 inches or so but its a decent length.

Works great with the Duromax generator...

... most generator adapters are wired to take the 120vac off of the other side of the 240vac coming off of your generator. This adapter is a must for your Duromax generator. Be sure to have the switch on 120vac so that you get the full 30 amps from your generator and this will allow you to run your AC and a few other items.

Awesome plug

So when I read the reviews, I said there's no way that you could run the A/C and microwave at the same time with just this little plug. Boy was I wrong. This is the best thing that I have bought and used so far. With the camper and generator

it is a MUST HAVE for RV AC

this adapter is MUST HAVE to run the AC on my travel trailer, it is wired to supply correct current where the first one I bought was not. I didn't know they could be different. I thought there was something wrong with the Duromax XP4400EH generator so I called their Service number and they explained why I needed this adapter. I tried it last week and the generator had no problem running my AC

Wired wrong at factory.

Twist lock was prewired for 110 volts only. This caused me a few days problems before I figured the problem and took apart the twist lock to discover one of the wires was not attached.

This is NECESSARY equipment if you buy a DuroMax XP4850EH ...

This is NECESSARY equipment if you buy a DuroMax XP4850EH Generator and plan to plug in a trailer or RV and want to run an AC unit. Plug the 4 prong side of the adapter in to the generator and the 3 prong trailer cord in to the adapter. Turn the power selector switch to 120V not 120/240. It Works.

found out the hard way, this cord is the only one that works with DuroMax Gen. wish it was posted on amazon that you need this cord to run rv, I found out when got to camping site, My woops for not checking the one I got from Tractor supply, found that gen is wired so you have to use DuroMax cord, but cord works great now that I have th right one.
