Durable Quality

Works good - but be aware it combines/shorts the two hot phases together.

If you use this adapter in a system to back feed a breaker panel in a home (say with a small 120Vac inverter/generator) you may want to leave your double pole distribution breakers that share a return, like kitchen outlets often do, "Off". As you could overload the neutral as the two 120Vac hots are now the same phase, not opposite ends of a split 240 phase, and their currents don't subtract like normal, but add. Example, a few high current 120Vac loads will all be going back on the same neutral, even if some of the loads are on the red and some on the black wire (or breaker in the panel). You may be ok, as most things in the kitchen are not on that long, but just a warning to watch for. A toaster oven and a microwave, on different poles/hots/breakers, may be going back one the same neutral, rather than cancelling out. Potential for a problem or burnt neutral wire that usually only has to handle one breaker's worth of current max. Obviously 240Vac breakers/loads with not work with this cord. Nice adapter, just know what might be going on due to the short. Since my inverter is really small, 16Amps, I should be OK with my 15 Amp Max neutral wires, but others may not.
