Negative reviewers should have played more Tetris as kids

I saw negative reviews complaining that the cardboard doesn’t fit in slots, the bag doesn’t close, etc. Those people are just lazy and didn’t put any effort in, or are not the brightest. Yes, it was a tight fit and not necessarily “easy” to zip up; I think that’s the whole point to keep ornaments from moving too much. Everything fits fine and can be assembled exactly how it should. It did take a little elbow grease to get the ends of the grid pieces into the slots on the shell of the box, but it’s not really hard and fits fine. Sometimes ya just gotta jam things in a little, ya know? And make sure you’re assembling correctly in to begin with. Also, people complaining about their ornaments breaking- if you have expensive or special ornaments made of an easily breakable material, why the hell would you store them in a canvas bag that uses CARDBOARD as protective barriers. It’s pretty sturdy IMO but if I had ornaments THAT precious, they would be stored in a way I knew 100% they’d be safe. Ever do the egg drop experiment as a kid? Furthermore idk what the heck kind of contact sport these people are playing with their boxes of ornaments ???? I had some 50+ year old ornaments that stayed in their original packaging which was falling apart and taped to all hell, and then put in a big plastic bin with other decorations- not a single one broke between 3 house moves and at least 6 Christmases of coming down from and back up to the attic. Y’all just be wildin’ or something. Anyway… This was a little pricier than some other ones I bought, but there is definitely some noticeable quality differences. The cheaper ones I got were pretty good too though. I’ll try to remember to update next year when we bring Xmas stuff back down from the attic but considering how I previously stored my ornaments (random boxes and tissue paper gathered into big plastic bins…), I’m sure this will be just fine and a lot easier unpacking to decorate since everything is organized now. I will say, I agree it doesn’t hold much (the cheaper ones I got held much more) but it clearly states the capacity in the description, so make sure you read it and know the size of ornaments you plan on putting in it. Not rocket science. ???? I would buy it again, but in conjunction with less expensive containers for my cheap ball ornaments.

Perfect fit

Wow- so nice. Adjustable and a nice snug fit- was able to downsize from 2 huge bins to a lil’ bitty velcro bag. I’m a minimalist now I think. Thanks!

Nice Storage Box

Was skeptical at first, but once it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It is fairly sturdy and durable, and I was surprised at how well my ornaments fit inside. I have many larger ornaments but it was easy to adjust several of the compartments to accommodate the larger items. I love being able to lift out the trays individually too -- the handles on each side make that easy! It all fits very snug inside the box so there's not a lot of room for the ornaments to "jiggle" around and break -- which is an excellent feature. There's also a clear window on the top so you can easily identify what's in the box.

We Keep Buying More!

These are the easiest containers to use and move around to store! I even took some of the dividers outs and layer Christmas lights in some boxes. I wish they came in other colors to use for other areas of the house and for other holidays - it would make it so easy to store and find each holidays decor!

No more layers of ancient tissue paper!

I’m not sure if it’s this particular product I like, or if I’m just so happy to have an ornament box. I’ve been wrapping my ornaments in the same ancient tissue paper and shoving them in a box since... well, forever. Now they have compartments! I put a LOT more than 60 ornaments in here. At least double that amount, as you can see from my pictures. The individual slots are 3 x 3 inches with a tray height of 3.75 inches. For about half of my ornaments, this was too small. However you can remove dividers to configure different size slots so it’s easy to work around. Recommend leaving in as many center dividers as possible to keep structural integrity. Next year, I will order a second of these so my ornaments won’t be so insanely crowded. PROS: - Nice, organized storage! - Dividers are removable for easy customization. - Zips closed so no creatures can get in. - ribbon handles on each layer to lift them out. - handles on the bag make carrying back and forth a breeze. - individual trays mean you can pack everything before stacking it in the bag. Each tray has a bottom so you don’t have to stack layer by layer as you go. Lay them all out and put the ornaments together that fit well together. Then, stack them all up. - I imagine this will make decorating the tree easier since you can lay out all the layers and see what you have. CONS: - The cardboard is a lot more flimsy on the dividers than I’d like. That said, I used that to my advantage in some places to fold one over for a large ornament. Also, when you get this, it will look and feel insanely cheap and flimsy. The structure really comes from all of the pieces coming together to brace each other. So give it a chance and assemble it. - I’d prefer a solid top so I can stack things. Or at least not worry that someone else will not notice and then they’ll stack something on top. - tight fit! This bag is tight. You have to work it to get it all in and zipped. I’d prefer a little more looseness so putting in the trays and removing them would be easier and not jerk my ornaments around. - I’d prefer hard sides/top/bottom. Once assembled, the sides and bottom are solid, but the top is not. - label window is on the wide side. I think most of us would store it with the short side out to maximize horizontal space. It’s not overpriced in my opinion compared to what’s out there. I’ll be ordering another next year. Possibly two more. If you can afford to go all out, I’d get something with more quality materials. This is thin canvas and cardboard. I would not recommend this if you’re not storing them in a reasonably controlled environment. If moisture might ever be a problem, do not get this. However, if you don’t want to break the bank, and you’re keeping it n a protected environment, go for it. It’s a million miles beyond that wadded up tissue paper!

Nice once you've gotten it together

This is a beautiful storage container but took me nearly 30 minutes to put the inside pieces together. It comes with instructions but doesn't show much. Once you figure it out, it's quite simple but it's just cardboard pieces in different lengths to put together. In the end, I like it very much.

What can I say but I wish I had bought these earlier. Packing up my tree was a breeze I love how you can make the compartments larger to store bigger ornaments. It’s going to be easier too decorating. You will know which boxes are for Christmas as they are red. Highly recommend

Sturdy and worth the money!

As you can see from my before and after photo, my ornaments are way more organized now. These boxes are very sturdy and I love that you can make them different sizes. Very happy that my Christmas is so organized now!

this is a great bag so far

this is a great bag so far. it's a bit difficult at first to put the third tray in, but I played with it a bit, and now there is no problem. I bought this when it was on sale, so I'm going to get another one if it goes on sale again. It holds quite a few of my ornaments, and I wish I would have had one of these years ago. A lot more convenient for storage as well.

Finally something that I like ! I ordered one at the beginning of the year that was clear plastic with gold dots and a gold zippered rim. What a disappointment. There wern't any individual trays as advertised. Thanks you !!
