Works great

I used this to install shutters on my brick home. The only bits I had were the cheap ones that came with anchor kits. This was much faster and showed no wear after drilling 32 3 inch deep holes in old brick. Long hammer drill bits seems to lose impact but this did fine. I suspect it will be around for a long time

Butter?

I needed to drill a few holes (12) in some sidewalk that a 6 inch bit did not handle. It had no issues, and looks like it can handle more. Just keep in mind that you need to let the tool do the work, but keep the bit cool. If you work it too hard, it will stop working. No issues with the shaft trying to buckle .

Tip melted after 1 hole

I believe i hit metal inside my concrete foundation, it wouldn't go further and i kept on trying, it basically melted and ruined itself. Not sure if it's my mistake or is that normal since I'm not experienced when it comes to drilling concrete holes to install doorbell.

Works as intended

Worked well. I use it for pre-drilling holes to sink orange fiberglass snow markers in the ground so they are deep enough to stay upright. Helps alot in frozen ground.

Not Broken Yet

Versatile and long drill bit. Seems sturdy enough and hasn't broken while drilling some holes into an ashfalt driveway. Probably wouldn't recommend for heavy duty jobs, but great for light to med/light drilling needs.

Junk

I need 2 holes through my brick........ couldn't accomplish one with this bit before the carbide evaporated. I went to the local hardware, purchased a 'task' brand and finished the job no problem. The ONLY thing good about this bit is triangular grip shaft.
