Good at first

The suction worked for bit but then stopped if the weren't wet 24/7. But my turtle can easily climb on it.

Mini size may be difficult for small turtles

Super basic but needed something in a pinch for my very small red eared slider. I found a 2-3 inch RES outside during winter in a Tupperware of water, destined to freeze to death. This came in and is great, however the smaller sizes might be a little difficult for them to climb on due to buoyancy and tiny lil legs. I just lowered the water a bit and put another ramp/hide so it kind of acts like a step stool and stabilizes the dock. Overall good but just watch and make sure your animals are using it and not exhausting themselves in the water!!

Not great for turtles

I have had turtles for years and while they were still small, it was a great dock. However, my turtles will try to eat anything and everything they can get to now. This includes the turtle dock, particularly between the holes that hold the platform to the wall and the edge of the platform. I did not notice at first due to it being close to the opposite wall of the tank that I see and them attacking it from the bottom, but they have successfully chewed through a big portion of the platform next to one of the poles that hold the platform to the wall. Great for little turtles that do not have a whole lot of chewing power, but horrible for older turtles who love to destroy anything they can. Turtles are curious creatures and tend to bite everything in the tank and learn what is edible and what isn't, since the platform gave away to their chewing, they kept at it. In addition to them trying to eat the platform, the suction cups sucked and they constantly came off the wall. One of the cups was completely bent the wrong way to stick to the wall. My turtles are trouble makers but most are. If you plan on getting one, don't. Find a different platform for them to bask on and save their digestive tract.

Ottimo prodotto!

Cercavo una pedana per la mia piccola tarta che in un anno è cresciuta tantissimo e aveva bisogno di più spazio. Ho scelto questa marca, perchè recensita ottimamente sia qui su Amazon, sia su altri siti dedicati e ho fatto bene a fidarmi. Trovo questa pedana ottima nel materiali e nell'estetica. Le ventose reggono bene, certo che se avete una tarta un po' più grande, lo spazio non basta, per la mia è perfetta. Ho inserito due immagini, di cui una con le dimensioni, perchè personalmente avevo faticato a trovarle corrette. Per quanto riguarda la spedizione, è arrivata molto prima rispetto alla data prevista, per cui tutto ok!!!

Good value for money, does what it's supposed to.

I bought this item in size S for an adult musk turtle (he's about 10cm). Delivery was as expected, well packed and arrived on time. Assembly was very easy and atraight forward. Had quite a strong chemical smell when I first took it out of the box. Soaked it in hot water with water conditioner and the smell was quickly gone. It was really easy to fit inside of my aquarium, floats like it's supposed to and stayed in place no problem. Turtle has been able to climb on with no problems to bask. I have discovered that because of the size/weight of my turtle, he is not able to fully dry off when basking. I need to swap for size M. I am overall very happy with the product, the way it is painted is not so natural looking (the green is a bit too bright) but when it's in place in an aquarium it's really not so noticeable. I will happily oder this product again in a larger size.

Un poco inestable

Es un poco inestable, se mueve cuando sube la tortuga...al final se acaba acostumbrando, pero al principio le cuesta. Las ventosas que quedan fuera del agua se sujetan fenomenal, pero las que quedan dentro, con el tiempo se sueltan con facilidad y hace que sea más inestable. Aguanta una tortuga grande, del tamaño de un palmo.

kleine Alternative als Sonnenplatz

Wir brauchten einen Sonnenplatz für unsere jungen Schildkröten, da diese nun gewachsen sind und auf den alten nicht mehr passen. + optik des Docks + Verarbeitung + es schwimmt + es besitzt eine Rampe - Styropor ( das Geräusch wenn die Schildkröten mit ihren kleinen Krallen darüber ziehen ist unangenehm) - leider ist die Rampe auf der falschen Seite, wir hätten die Rampe aufgrund der Dekoration im Aquarium auf der anderen Seite besser gefunden, so mussten wir etwas umbauen. (eine option ob Rampe links oder rechts wäre super) - Saugnäpfe.... Ich bezweifle, dass die Saugnäpfe auch die Plattform in ein oder zwei Jahren noch tragen kann. Wir haben die Plattform mithilfe von einem Stein fixiert

Gute Idee, schlechte tragfähigkeit

An sich eine gute Idee. Die Anpassung an den Wasserstand funktioniert, jedoch ist der landteil schräg, da die Rampe auch Auftrieb hat. Die Saugnäpfe halten an der Oberfläche gut, jedoch bekommt man sie sehr schwer auf die Halterung. Wenn man mehrere Schildkröten damit bedienen möchte, muss man auf jeden Fall eine Nummer größer nehmen. Ich habe Mini für meine Jungtiere gekauft und die Tragfähigkeit war recht gering, sodass sie zurück ging. Außerdem kippt das ganze recht leicht von der Wand weg ins Wasser. Bedingt zu empfehlen.
