Excellent, Highly Recommended Shoehorn for Seniors, Reasonably Priced

ZOMAKE Long Handle Shoe Horn Review---I have previously bought a couple of long handle shoe horns to help me get into my shoes, since I cannot bend down to the level of my feet due to back arthritic "stiffness". So I went to Amazon to see if they were selling a shoe horn that could perform better than what I had previously purchased. I was most convinced to try this product because of the very high praise given from many of their their customer reviews. A small number were very disappointed, however, since for them the metal shaft bent upon its early use. However, the price of the particular shoehorn, was so inexpensive, that I decided to buy and try it, despite the few unhappy reviewers. I am so glad I did-- since I now can get into my New Balance sneakers and my new Zizzak shoes within 1 minute, no longer needing my wife to help me with the process. I also loved the leather handle, that because of its 90 degree end angulation and leather softness, fit and guided my hand deftly, helping me to get into these shoes easier than I had been able to be for the last several years. Let me try to address the "bent metal" issue, if I may. I am a physician and have some comments that might be helpful to those who may purchase this item. I have some shoes from over 10 years ago, that if I tried to get into them now, they would be so tight, that I would not be surprised at all, if the metal shaft would have bent, given my weight of 270 lbs and large foot, that in 20 years time, has increased from a size 12 medium to a size 14 wide. This was due to loss of my arches with flattening of the feet that increase their length by two inches. The extra width of the foot is due to gaining 50 lbs in that time interval. The Zizzak shoe, I purchased 1 month ago, because it had a strong heel that resists bending when attempting to get into the shoe. After buying it, my first attempt to get into it with a shoe horn was not easy at all. As recommended by the shoe company, I worked for about 30 minutes adjusting the laces to widen the shoe even more, until it became much easier to get it the shoe without bending or deforming the back heel support of the shoe. And using the above ZOMAKE shoehorn was significantly better, easier & faster for me, by myself, to get the shoes as compared to my prior bought shoehorns. For the above reasons, I strongly recommend this shoehorn, most highly or adults who find it difficult to get into their shoes, due to back, arthritic or other problems, that makes bending to shoe level with their hands, difficult to virtually impossible.

Excellent shape, sturdiness, and length

I'm a larger guy and I'm getting less flexible with each passing year, so I finally accepted that it's time I get myself a shoehorn so I stop bending in and crushing the backs of my footwear when putting them on. This shoehorn is a definite positive addition to my dressing routine, and makes slipping on both sneakers and dress shoes a LOT easier. My thoughts: -Strength: This is made from a hefty chunk of powder coated metal (I'm guessing steel, as magnets stick to it) and there's little chance that I would bend it with normal use. -Curl: The bowl is slight enough that it cups my heel well and still fits into the shoe. -Handle: A nice (p)leather wrapping that's comfortable to the touch and removable should it ever need cleaning. -Length: Runs down my entire lower leg, making manipulation easy. I really like this shoehorn and use it nearly every time I put on sneakers after a long day on my feet leaves my legs and back sore and achy. With dress shoes, it's a must to keep heels intact and looking sharp. 5/5

Looks Great, what can I say?

I mean, it’s a shoe horn, so I think you would have to be actively trying to mess up the function. I have to bend down a bit while standing but aside from that, I can use sitting or standing. The handle hook works well for hanging on the arm of a chair I keep near my door when putting on my shoes and it looks good. The material on the handle moves a bit if I’m struggling to get a shoe on, none of these problems affects the look and functionality, so there you go.

Perfect shoe horn!

Who would think that a shoe horn would bring so much joy! I know, silly…. But truth be told.. working on a farm requires me to change shoes / boots often. And because I don’t always want to stop and re- tie shoe laces…. This horn enables me to swap out in 1 second! Love it… It’s very sturdy, and as others have commented… the leather handle is a nice classy touch! Highly recommend, and I’ll have this for years! Keep up the good work!

Shoe Pendos

This shoehorn is the absolute best ever, it's the perfect length, made out of a heavy metal, and the leather handle gives it a little style and class. I think it is 16 inches long, I'm an older gentleman so being able to reach the heal of my shoe without bending over is fantastic. I liked it so much I bought more than one. One in my master closet, one in my truck, (golf shoes) and one in the garage for work boots and sports shoes, bowling and running shoes. Don't waste your time and money on any other shoehorn, this is a winner ... thanks Vince S.

strong and easy to use

this item makes slipping into shoes or sneakers much easier. no more having the back edge of sneakers curling down into the back of the sneakers when putting them on. I would highly recommend this product.

It's a shoe horn

The description says for seniors and I guess as I am 75 years old that is accurate. It is sturdy and has a nice leather handle. Works very well with boots.

Long & stiff

This long shoe horn is perfect. Allows me to put on shoes so easily. Very stiff metal which makes my shoes slide on. Leather like handle so your hand doesn’t slip as well.

It’s a good Quality product

For my husband who is 84 years old n has broken many cheap plastic ones that I’ve bought at dollar stores and so this is much better good material and strong and looks nice in my brass umbrella stand by our front door

I liked this item because it's all in one piece. I had another one that bent because the part that fit into the shoe and was attached to a long handle had bent. This shoehorn is all in one piece and that's why it's sturdy to use.
