Smells and works great

Product as advertised! I did not know dogs could get lice, so here we are... Love the smell. Love how lathery it gets, and the bugs are gone!

Works well keeping Fleas and ticks off my dog

The Methoprene in this shampoo is an IGR (insect growth regulator) which will keep fleas at bay, by making any larvue left unable to turn into adult fleas, thus breaking the flea life cycle. It works for about a month. I wash my dog, then about 7-10 days later do it again, just to make sure that any insects left will not be around long. I have looked for similar shampoo at pet supply shops around town but have not found any that is any better than this, plus the bottle lasts quite a long time. Other compounds in the shampoo will kill insects on the spot. I have been using Zodiac products for my pets for about 35 years and have come to rely on them for keeping my pets clean and free of fleas and ticks. FYI, the inventor of Methoprene was Dr. Carl Djerassi, the co-inventor of the birth control pill for women. He formed a company, Zoecon Inc. to develop this and other products aimed at safer and less harmful methods of controlling insects.

????gets rid of lice????

The reason I bought/tried this shampoo is my dog got biting lice and the monthly flea and tick pills didn't affect them, sty least it didn't get rid of them and my dog was in misery. He was biting plugs if hair and skin anywhere here could get to. I feel it's totally my responsibility to help my pets. This shampoo was such a blessing to find. He was able to sleep for hours after his treatment. It left him soft and comfortable. I just ordered another bottle of it to have on hand just in case. It smells good too. It might help with human lice too. ????

Works great!

I love this stuff. My German shepherd has allergic reactions to all the flea meds (topical and oral) but this doesn’t bother him. I use it once a month on him and it keeps the fleas and ticks at bay and makes him smell good and makes his coat super soft. I’ve bought it for years. We don’t use any other flea meds with this and don’t need it.

Love it!

We have used this shampoo for our Bearded Collies for nearly 20 years. It has never caused a skin condition of any type. The best part is how nicely it spreads across the fir as I am lathering up..... so much nicer and easier to use than other shampoos that require nearly half a bottle just to cover a shaggy dog. As for flea protection, I'm not really convinced. Even after 20 years the jursy is still out on that as far as we are concerned.

AMAZING smell!

This is the BEST dog shampoo I have ever used. The smell is lovely. Your fresh pet will have your home smelling amazing as well. I do let it sit (lathered well) for the 5-10 for the best flea protection. It does leave the hair soft. Go on and buy 2.. I do the 3 pk!
