A bit too much power for this newbie
This is my first impressions of the product, as well as first experience with anything like it. Right now, I'm not sure I can agree with other reviews I've seen around the interwebs, that this is a good device for beginners...To start with, I just put the pads on my thigh. When I hit the button, I about jumped out of my chair. I experimented about with the modes/speeds, but nothing made me feel comfortable enough to go much further with it. Even the lowest power setting is way too much for me, and there's no way to bring it on slowly, being that it's digital. The second power level was on the threshold of pain. I didn't go any higher... It does seem like overall this is an OK unit, so I don't want to scorn it with too low a rating, but you should probably have a pretty decent idea what you're doing going into it. I'll probably "get back on the horse" with a unit that has analog controls, such that I can bring the power on much more gradually, then maybe come back to this one once I have a better sense of how to place the electrodes and whatnot. Other things worth mentioning: - As others have said, there's no instructions, but it's not a terribly complicated device. Mainly be aware it will not do much until the circuit is complete - On mine at least, the power and speed indicators are backward - Really, nothing on the LCD makes much sense. - It feels a little light weight to the point of low quality, but it's hard to say....it could just be light weight.

Mixed Review
I did not buy this for sexual activity. I just got it and I have to say I can see why it's used for sex. This unit is inexpensive and I purchased to see how they worked before investing in a better unit. I was surprised as the strength of the unit for the size and money. It appears to work as stated but I will not comment on the longevity of the unit as it is new and unknown. If you are looking for a unit to experiment with this is a great start. I only gave it 4 stars. This is because it came with no instructions. It did have batteries in it when it arrived but they are low quality generics. I can not see batteries lasting long in this unit no matter what quality they are. I would suggest good quality rechargeable. The other drawback that I can already see is over time you will be going through pads and leads. You will need to research the best option for your use. This unit comes with a 15 minute auto shutoff. This can be a bit of a pain. To recap this review. The unit I received works as it should. I would recommend this unit if you are unsure about electro-stimulation and want to experiment. If you have already done that I suggest you invest in a higher quality unit.

Cheap, but a great way to try out electro play!
As other users stated it came with no instructions which was a pain. But once I figured out the settings what a product! Sensations range from a dull vibration to full on shock depending on you taste. I was amazed at how powerful this was with 2AAA batteries! Definitely was fun to play with. Another negative was that it only seems to work with the headphone jack in a certain position, so randomly it'd stop and I'd wiggle the wire and it would resume. All in all its a cheap product and comes across as such, but is a great way to dip your toes into electro play.

Pros: + VERY cheap to get started into E-Stim. The components to make your own (as risky as it may sound) is actually a bit more expensive than this unit. + The Included pads are great over muscle areas, and attach well to most places on your body. + Small, Light Weight, and Effective + Included Leads work with most TENS accessories (including pads not necessarily made by the manufacturer, or your own custom Electrodes) Cons: - Included Pads dont work as effective as I hoped on "extremities". - Description is a tad bit wrong, most likely a typo, It requires 2 AAA batteries, not AA. - Buttons sometimes arent responsive, also dont work under rapid clicking (but work fine if you do slow clicks) Other: I've been a fan of E-Stim for a long time, And have made my own power box (very similar to this)Due to the fact that previously the next cheapest power box was around 60$. That said, this is a great way to experiment, but I highly suggest you invest in some Conductive Rubber Tubing (a quick google search will find plenty of results) if you plan on using it "in the bedroom".

I've only had this for a little over a week but I feel totally comfortable in saying the Zeus Palm Powerbox was money well spent. Mine arrived several days early and in perfect condition. I had read other's opinions regarding the instructions being pretty skimpy and I'll add my voice to that as well, however I found the Box pretty instinctive to figure out and use. Just start slowly! After applying some Spectra 360 gel to myself I placed two pads ,about 3" apart, just below "the boys " . Once I found the perfect settings for me the feeling was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. I guess it could best be described as feeling like I was "on the verge " for a good twenty minutes. Even that descripton seems inadequate and I apologize. The sensations I experienced were coming from deep inside my body . I'm planning to order a few more attachments for me and my wife and doing more experimenting because I'm hooked! Really, for the price you can't go wrong.

Certainly packs a little punch
My husband and I are newbies in the e-stim world; this is our first device - so I have nothing to compare to. I can tell you it certainly gets the job done. Would have given it 5 stars, but it came with no instructions! With my husband as the test subject, after messing around with it, I was able to figure it out. Please note - especially during 1st time usage for newcomers with children, it did make him yell and we did wake our kids! Talk about a mood killer.
