A little preventive maintenance could save you thousands in plumbing costs
We have an older home that doesn’t have easy access to all the clean outs that a newer home might have. After a clog, a plumber told me I needed to install a new main line, and a second opinion told me I just needed to clean the buildup out of my pipes, I figured I would try this stuff. Basically a little monthly maintenance is keeping everything draining as it should. An ounce of prevention (literally) is saving us thousands of dollars in repairs. This is not going to fix a clog, but rather keep your pipes clean and ensure that clogs are less-likely to develop. You need to keep up on it monthly. I have found that the bottle doesn’t last nearly as long as they say it should, as we need to pour it into multiple drains for best results, but still highly recommend this product!

It works on toliets UPDATE
Update. So...it didn't work. Back to where I started. Original post....So I wasn't sure of this would work on the toliet after I read the reviews. But I thought I would try. So the plumber snaked my toliet and a week later it was not working again. So, I got this Zep bottle. I dumped the entire bottle down the toliet. I let it sit for 4 days with no use or flushing. On day 5 I turned the toliet water off. I poured bringing water into the toliet and flushed it. I used the plunger. And down it all went. I plugged it again and flushed. I plan on doing this once a month

Difficult to review
So many products sold on Amazon take a lot of time to work, if at all. But the push for a review comes before there is any indication of the products success or failure. Time will tell. It was delivered quickly, had no problem following the directions and using the product, but now will have to wait perhaps months before there is any sign of it working and I may never know if it actually did what it is supposed to do.

This product does work but you need to use it as a maintenance product. My bathroom sink drain had next to no flow, but after six months of regular applications I have a clean drain. The toilet drain is not plugging as often and hopefully future applications will improve that. I do have a problem with Amazons pricing on this product and have used CT to cut the cost in half.

Great product
Love Zep and love having it delivered to our door instead of lugging it through a big-box store and out to the car. We have used Zep for about four years to keep our drains clear.

Been following instructions to a T and drains are still slow to empty.
