Just right

I got this bag as a transition from a larger backpack that doubled as a diaper bag. This bag is perfect! Fits all my essentials, including a water bottle, a change of clothes for my toddler, and a snack. Super light weight!

Perfect once you make a few mods...

For a theft-conscious person, this bag is pretty perfect for my needs. It's hard to find a secure bag that isn't bulky or meant to fit an entire kitchenette inside of it. I have been using the Pacsafe Citysafe CS300 for the past six years but have wanted an alternative with a different color palette and perhaps an even smaller profile. When I came across the Travelon Anti-Theft Slim backpack it seemed like the perfect choice! This bag perfectly fits my 10.5-inch iPad Pro (2017) with attached keyboard, a battery pack, several cables, headphones case, my sunglasses, and a few everyday toiletries and medicines. No extra weight or wasted inches beyond what I need if I'm traveling to a coffee shop or just running errands. HOWEVER. The other reviews have accurately warned...the front flap on the bag will NOT securely stay shut. Further, the straps don't fit on my shoulders in a way that makes me feel confident they won't slide off my arms. These two things are easily remedied! I purchased some tan no sew VELCRO strips for the front flap an Amlrt khaki chest straps to help secure the bag across my chest when walking. I also added a Pacsafe 3-dial clip cable lock to help secure the bag during quick bathroom breaks at the cafe. The Travelon bag is a lot more affordable than comparable brands so an extra $15-$20 feels like an appropriate amount to spend to make sure this bag does what it needs to do. PROS: Slim profile Minimalist design Excellent organization, especially for a smaller bag Zipper clips are easy theft deterrents RFID technology and anti-slash material Affordable when compared to other brands CONS: Weak magnetic flap** Straps don't feel secure on shoulders** Uncomfortable straps Colors are a little dull **Found work-arounds

Great bag so far

I have the same praises and criticisms as the other reviewers do. Love the size, security, and durability. Disappointed in the weak magnetic closure and non-cushioned shoulder straps. It's not the cutest bag, but it's simple and practical, which was what I was looking for. I haven't tested it out in the real world yet, but I will be going on a 1-week trip soon and will see how well it holds up.

Incomplete backpack missing zipper

I a really love Travelon I gave this backpack a 4 and it should be a 3 because it does not have a second zipper closure in the main opening of the bag as seen in the demonstration of the slim signature travelon videos and photos . I returned the first one and requested a replacement but received replacement with the same problem, I spoke to Amazon costumer service and they gave me options to return again or receive a discount I took the discount, but Still I wanted so bad what I saw advertising. Still the backpack is well made and it looks durable.

Cute and functional

I'm so glad I purchased this bag for sightseeing in big cities. The security features are subtle but effective, like the zippers that lock to the bag. The inside features multiple sleeves for cards. It's the perfect size to pack two small lunches, a couple of plastic water bottles, an umbrella and a packable rain jacket. I like that this bag doesn't scream tourist. It's minimalist in style and not flashy but still good quality. We spent a hefty amount of time in the pouring rain. The bag withstood the beating and the items inside remained mostly dry, which was impressive since this bag isn't marketed as waterproof.

Does not block car fob signal

I bought this to use for travel and finally started using it this week after having it for 2 years (I must admit!), but it does NOT block signals. Why pay smooch for something that doesn't work? Would give a zero if I could - totally dishonest.

Stylish and worth the money.

Got this for my niece. She loves it! There is sufficient space and plenty of pockets on the interior to organize her everyday-carry essentials. The clips to lock the zippers are simple and intuitive. The zippers are strong and glide easily and consistently. She says the detachable strap that locks gives her peace of mind whenever she has to put her purse down someplace that is not in her immediate line-of-sight. She also likes how the purse sits comfortably, whether carrying it over one shoulder or as a backpack over both. The material is nice and so far, hasn't caused her clothing to pill or pull. I accidentally spilled some water on the purse yesterday and it is indeed water resistent. This purse is stylish and worth the money.

Le falta cierre

Me encanta las mochilas de Travelon, el único inconveniente es que en la bolsa de en medio no tiene nada para cerrarla y cuando te agachas o necesitas agarrar algo de adentro de la mochila, lo que tengas en esa bolsa se sale.

Great anti-theft but not user friendly

I really like how the clips work to make it anti-theft. I also love the size of it so that I don't put too much in it and it remains light. The downside of it is that it is soft-sided and it is difficult to find things in it at times. There are a good number of internal pockets for my stuff. I initially thought the shoulder straps would be great but I find that no matter how tight I put them, one strap always slides off my shoulder and it is just uncomfortable.

For smaller people only

Was too small for me. Straps too tight and not adjustable. If you are petite and slim shouldered it may fit you better. The one I received had a very strong smell of some kind of fabric spray that was unpleasant.
