Sturdy beginner bag but lacking inner storage compartments
My son is in T-ball this year and needed a backpack for his gear. This Rawlings bag is lightweight and has a lot of room for two bats, his glove, helmet, and for storing his cleats, uniform, and snacks in. We like that the bats fit snugly down into the side mesh pouches and have a velcro strap at the top to wrap around the bats to keep them secure. There is also another mesh pocket on the front to stash stuff in so it is easily accessible. Another feature that we like is the hook on the top so that you can hang it on the Little League fence. The bag material and zippers are fairly sturdy considering how inexpensive this is. What I don’t like about the bag so much is that there aren’t any segmented pouches on the inside (like a little pouch for putting smaller things in so it doesn’t rxoll around in the bottom - money, a cell phone, etc) and there is no separate spot in the bag for your dirty cleats. We ended up having to put a drawstring bag INSIDE the bag for the cleats. Finally, there is no dedicated spot on the outside for a water bottle. It would be nice if the front mesh was specifically for a water bottle. As is, the front pouch is a little big and we’re concerned water bottle will roll out. This is really for a beginner player as it doesn’t have a lot of specialized storage and doesn’t have shoulder padding for heavier items. But again, it’s a great bag for Tball and a pretty good value.

Nice design & quality construction
This is a nice compact bat bag that has room for everything - Nice design & quality construction. It has a great thoughtful design and very nice construction - feels really durable and the zippers are heavy duty and smooth. I got it for my daughter who plays 12U fastpitch softball. She has a full size helmet and glove and size 7 cleats. Everything fits in this bag with just a bit of thoughtful stuffing - if you put the glove in the helmet then put the helmet in it all fits easily. The fence hook is a great addition and it is heavy duty thick plastic that will last forever. The bat pockets are reinforced with elastic loop to secure it safely. There is also a mesh pockets on each side - great for storing sunglasses during the game & they fit a slim water bottle too. There is a loop strip across the bottom of the main compartment opening - perfect for sticking batting gloves during a game. Above the main compartment is a smaller zipper compartment which is great for stashing her cell phone, cash, hair ties, chapstick and small sunscreen tube. The cleat compartment is on the bottom and is vented - great for letting the cleats air out & dry between use. The bungee on the outside of the main compartment flap is a nice addition & great for storing her sweatshirt. It's original function is to hold the helmet but she doesn't like using it for that - says it takes to long (insert eye roll). I am pretty impressed with this bag's quality and functionality - it has worked great for my daughter.

Great for youth level
The Rawlings youth player bag is great for 12U players. Plenty of room for helmet, gloves, and two bats. Quality is good and will hold up for a long time.

my kid likes carrying it
I got this for my 11 year old to save all his baseball gear, he really likes it. From its sleek design to its spacious compartments, this backpack has exceeded my expectations. The main compartment is large enough to hold all of his equipment, including his helmet, gloves, batting gloves, and cleats. The bag also has a separate ventilated compartment for his cleats, which is great for keeping them separate from the rest of my gear and preventing any unpleasant odors from building up. The backpack is also incredibly comfortable to wear, even when it's fully loaded with all of my equipment. The padded shoulder straps and back panel help distribute the weight evenly across my back, which helps prevent any discomfort or strain. Overall, I would highly recommend the Rawlings R200 Players Backpack Equipment Bag to anyone looking for a high-quality backpack for their baseball or softball equipment.

Great starting bat bag!
This has all the necessities and a fence hook! It will fit all the basics and then some. It’s perfect for my son doing tball. For a older or more advanced player they may want something with more compartments and storage but for a little kid starting out in the sport this is perfect!

Rawlings gets it done!
Convenient, comfortable, durable - made of 600D polyester - and able to carry everything needed. Plenty of room, and then some, for all your equipment - measuring ‎13.03 x 10.04 x 3.62 inches. This has 2 bat sleeves and external pocket for a water bottles or whatever else you may want to carry. The built in fence hook is sturdy and reliable making it easy to access the bag and also saves the bag from the wear and tear of being placed on the ground. All of this from a longtime trusted manufacturer - Rawlings. High quality is reasonably priced at $30. You really can't go wrong with this one!
